"I'm going to be honest with you, Spock. I'm very nervous."

I said this hoping to finally strike up a conversation; we hadn't spoken anything to each other for hours.

Correction: one minute and thirteen seconds.

Damn it, Spock, you're so sexy when you do that.

There was a long pause before Spock spoke. "Our shuttle is approaching Vulcan. Was there anything you wished to do before we beam down?"

"There is one thing..." I stared into his deep brown eyes just as intensely as he stared into mine. The next thing I knew, I was locked in a passionate kiss with my Vulcan lover, my hand lost in his silky black hair. When we finally broke apart, I took a few seconds to breathe and said simply with a smile, "Now I'm ready."

With every step I took on the desert planet, more sand filled my black uniform shoes, weighing down every move I made. The sun was beating on my back, causing a continuous sweat to emerge from my skin. Spock wasn't kidding when he told me the journey would be difficult; especially knowing that I forgot my damn water.

"Spock...do you have any water left?" He nodded as he handed me the container, still mostly full. I took a few sips and handed it back to him.

"If you need more, tell me; you are not accustomed to these conditions and you are likely to faint. Drink as much as you need to."

"Thanks, Spock."
