My Ruined Love

I had called my parents when i arrived at the office, they too weren't happy and they were tempted to not let him enter. They had an idea and i let them deal with it. He only needed to apologize to me and he would be able to enter along with his family. My parents also had told me they will contact his family in advance to make sure it was okay. When i was in second lesson, my phone buzzed and i check it. Mum had just told me that Kane's parents had agreed to the small punishment.

In lunch, everyone was looking at me, it was just strange. I mean the attention was strange, i just didn't like the stare. Was it because of the outburst of earlier? Or did they think i lied about the necklace or something. i scoffed slightly at my crazy thoughts. A couple of girls walk by my table and intentionaly raised their voice as i heard:

Girl 1: " did you hear? This poor girl over there threaten Kane with her cheap necklace and fake party tonight. She claimed it was a birthday present"

Girl 2: "ha! what a joke! I bet she just want attention, i mean she's a lowly poor student here, i bet she has a scholarship here and can't afford anything. I mean have you seen her clothes, they look like the come from a charity store. "

They laughed even more as they glanced over at me and walk away. I sneered and rolled my eyes as i ate the apple i had taken from home. It was really all i ever ate; i never ate a lot at lunch.

Today was particularly long, and i felt exhausted by the end of the day. I mean half of the day. I walk to my locker and took my stuff before I left the building. My driver was waiting for me, at the same place as yesterday, and i giggled as i noticed Kane glaring at me. i mean, i keep taking his parking space. Why would he care anyway.

Andrio drove to the Villa and step out to open the door for me. I sigh, this formality wasn't necessary. It was Overwhelming. But i could only suck it up and deal with it. My bag on my shoulder as my feet walk up the five stairs to the door as i open it. I took my shoes off and put on the slippers, i made my way to the living room where my parents sat.

Me:"Hi mum and dad"
Dad:"Welcome dear. How was your day, apart from that call earlier?"
Me:"It was the usual, only that now everyone thinks i lied; I'm sure Kane must have something to do with what everyone is saying. I don't know why he hates me in the first place..."
Father: "Kane is a trouble kid, ignore him and he will stop annoying you, and he will have to once he knows who you truly are. And all those people that insulted you today will have a face-slap tonight, so don't worry sweetie."

Me: "Mmhm, true"

Mother: "I got you a dress, its a very pretty soiree dress. Here's the box, and more boxes for the rest. And about the necklace, we will have someone to repair it.."

I nodded slowly, thanking them. I took the three boxes which were quickly taken by the housekeeper. I walk upstairs as i follow the housekeeper, i opened my door for him which he quickly went to placed them on my queen size bed before he left, closing the door behind.

I opened the first box to see a blue dark colored dress, its skirt was going down to the knees and it had those faded sleeves which were soft to the touch. I put it on, it was lose from the edges, It fitted perfectly with the body shape of mine and i was happy. I opened the second bow which were the matching open blue heels with a golden strap, i placed them on and walk a bit to get used to it, when i finally opened the last box, many other small box were there. I look at them and decided to put the golden earrings and the matching bracelet. she didn't put any necklace, nor the ring. Because to much jewelry, was to much. I step down the hallway to the stairs to the sitting room where my parents awaited. My eyes widen when i saw Aiden and his family were there. Why were they here? Aiden even was surprised when he recognized me.

Father:" Oh Amelia, you're here. I'm sure you already know Aiden. This is our partners, Che Lingo and Maria, and also my great friends"

Me:" okay.. it is nice to meet you Sir and Madam Che" I bowed my head politely then shook their hands. "and its nice to finally know you more Aiden" I added. My thoughts got clouded by excited thoughts of finally getting my crush until i was brought back to earth. I apologize and sat down on one of the unused sit. I kept an ear out for the small conversation. When suddenly Lingo and Demetri stood up.

father:" we're going to talk in our office, if you ladies want to go to the Tea room while you kids have fun in the movie room, you can. Keep in mind that at 8pm we must all be ready to go to the banquet."

All our heads nodded and i decided to stand up.

me:"would you like to join me to the movie room?"

Aiden:"sure, show the way" he smiled with his small cute dimples. My heart melting even more, i think the heavens were good on me, but god how wrong i was.

Anyway - lets keep that a secret for now hehe - We walk to the movie room, we had to walk up the stairs, the second hallway and the 4th door on the right. It was quite far away if you wish to go there. Sometime i would wish i could have sleepovers with my friends in this room, but it never happen as i didn't really have many friends; or maybe none at all.

Aiden:" Nice house..hey, why would you fake your identity and pretend to be who you are at school, if everyone knew who you are they wouldn't try to offend you."

Me:" that's a thing.... if i hadn't fake my identity maybe i wouldn't have problems. But i don't want to be called spoiled or anything, i don't want fake friends that uses you for the money and stabs you in the back afterwards. And i don't want people to be scared of me, although i have a luxurious life, i try to have it as simple as possible. Like a commoner. it's actually better, you are more free. Plus not being known and followed 24/7 and to be expected of things to happen by the public and fans. Because the whole words expect you to live in the ways they want. To be their role model, and if you do one wrong thing, everyone will judge you and you can never go back to how it used to. And that's why i begged my parents ever since i was a child to be kept hidden. They had kept my identity hidden until i was about 6 years old, they had explained to me, and i ask them to keep it that way. I don't know why they have to let it out open on my 17th birthday, perhaps 18th would of been better, but i don't know why today? Is it because our parents are that eager for us to get married?"

It was a long explanation, but at least he understood. It was strange to see this side of him outside of school and for the next hour following we decided to watch a Netflix show, because yes, even us watch Netflix. We were watching a comedy, it was small episodes that had us addicted and laughing at the screen.
We didn't see the time, and our mothers had to come take us. We were 5 minutes late to the time we were supposed to go back downstairs. But we couldn't stop laughing. On the way out, as i took my small matching purse, with my small cardigan to keep me warmer for the evening. I check my hair and makeup before being pushed by Maria and Sara, i rolled my eyes at the women. My mum and his Mother seemed to be best-friend. They were only two cars, no i mean to limousines. I walk with my parents and they turned around.

Father:" why are you following us? You have you own limousine with Aiden, this is for me and your mother, and his parents."

Me:" oh, i had no clue. I apologize"

I was surprised, how was i supposed to know if i wasn't told. I scurried over to the other limousine where the other 17 years old boy was was waiting for me. I lowered my head awkwardly as i step inside the limousine, and moved to my side before he too step inside, next to me.
