My Ruined Love

My eyes opens in the morning, it feels different this morning though, i could feel the cold ring on my ring finger. It was going to be a new day, a new me. I smile and sat up to stretch which was followed by a yawned. I slip on my slipper and made my way to the en-suite bathroom to take a warm shower; i really needed it after last night. As i walk out with my towel wrap around me i noticed a box that had been recently placed on my bed. I open the box and a pink dress was nicely folded, i took it out and admire it; it was a long sleeve dress which was appropriate for school since the length would fall to my knees. A pair of heels was also placed in the box as well as a set of jewelry. It was nice, but i didn't want to wear a dress to school. A note slip and i quickly retrieve it. Make sure you wear it for school today; Aiden has something planned, love you. Mum. I sigh and managed to put it on, i ignore the jewelry and dried my hair. I look in the mirror after i put on my lip balm and had tied my hair up, after I step out the room and made my way to the kitchen which surprisingly my parents were there too - which was kinda weird since they should of already left to work. I ate my usual breakfast and took my school bag.

Me: "Bye dad, bye mum!"

Them: "Have a nice day, dear" they smiled at each other as they watch me leave.

I walk to the car where the driver open the door for me upon my arrival "thank you Andrio" i say as i step in, as i look up i was surprised at seeing Aiden and yelp.

Me:"I'm sorry you scared me"

Aiden:"its fine, i should be the one apologizing" he replied with a smile on his face, he seemed genuine, and i gently smiled at him.

Me:"why are you in my car?" I finally ask

Aiden:"uhhh, my parents wanted me to pick you up, to go to school together and it's not actually your car, it's mine I just ask Andrio to drive us."

I nod my head and smiled at the driver to give him the green light to drive away and after a 20 minutes drive we arrived at school. Aiden walk out of the car by his side, and the girls look at him, wanting to eat him alive. They watch him walking around the car, while i undo my seatbelt. The door open and the young man helped me out. The girls immediately had a sour face as they throw jealous mean comments.

1.: "What a horrible sight, she's so ugly"

2.:"Ha! Why is she suddenly wearing expensive clothings?? Is she a gold digger?"

They laughed crazily and look at them. I smiled as i raised a brow at them.

A friend of Aiden stood behind them and walk forward, putting his arms around them. He had a small smirk on his face.

Max:" Tell me girls, did you know the girl you just insulted is Amelia Rodriguez.. " He watch as their eyes widen "That's right, Heiress of DSREM and Fiance of Aiden.."

They shriek in fear and hurried away as Max chuckled and made his way towards us. Aiden took my hand and a blush reached my small cheeks. Aiden thanked Max while i looked away, I spotted Kane and rolled my eyes.

Me:" I will go and leave you alone" I spoke up.

Aiden:" You can't, i got something planned."

Max look at me like a happy puppy and extended his hand "happy to finally meet you Amelia, i am Max, can you be my friend?" he ask genuinely. I was at first a little surprised that someone wanted to be friends with me , i smiled and shook his hand.

Me:"thank you" i replied with a smile. Kane was also surprised, i look at him as he snorted, i look away as his gaze fell on me.  No way i am gonna be friends with someone so rude. I fake cough and Aiden look at me, Max smiled and went back to drink at his orange juice. He was literally beaming.

Max:" The teacher gave you until the start of the lesson; if we are late we will be excused, she also proposed you two a choice. Celebrate during first period or work"

Me:" Education is important"

Max:" Ow but i wanted to party in class; it's on my bucket list"

Me:" I'll think, i mean we'll think about it, but for whatever reason you are talking about, i will consider what next" i was indeed confused, and Aiden begun walking, pulling me along as i remembered our hands were still connected together.

Max was still following us, i often look behind and then back in front of me. Aiden chuckled at the sight of my confused face. We finally arrived at the radio room, i was a little surprised and confused. He turn the machine and speak through the Microphones, his voice echoed through the speakers. "Hello, this Aiden. Aiden Ling. I want to announce something, like many of you have probably heard about DSREM to have an heiress and many tabloids are talking. Amelia, the girl who lived like a commoner finally made surface. Also i hope you can cheer me up later; she is now classed the richest kid in the school."

Me:" what what?" i said, I'm sure people have heard that. But i truly didn't know.

Aiden:" Anyway, we're not here to say this, We're here to say that you are all.... invited to our engagement party, invites will be given soon" i gasp while everybody in the hallways and classes cheers. I didn't know this was his plan.

Me:" Wow" I laughed awkwardly and he joined; Kane kept looking at me as i laughed. Max was also laughing at them.

Kane:" Stop laughing, it's horrible!" He yelled,  but i sort of knew it was directed at me.

Aiden look at him and ask "Is there a problem?"

He shrugged and look away, at the poster.

Max:" I'm still wondering how you managed to walk through the doors although the body guards held you, maybe next time Amelia should make sure you don't even make it to the door."

Me:" He was able to pass because i told the guards to try and not hurt the guest; In other words him.  Which means they were probably not hard on him. I wish i could do that for the next event..." I look at Aiden "but I'm not the kind of person who will force their partners to end a friendship because you dislike me"

The three boys were surprised. Aiden smiled nd took my hands " let's go study" he said.

Before Max could whine i quickly spoke up " Actually i don't mind if you want to celebrate, you seemed to want to earlier"

He smiled again and nodded, Max was jumping like a happy bunny while Kane, behind them, was being gloomy.

The couple and their friends walk to class where the current students cheered. The teacher guessed they were going to celebrate so she took some drinks out and some cakes.  And yet again, everyone was happy celebrating. It made me remembered yesterday, and i could feel how tired that evening had made me.
