My Ruined Love

Aiden walk back in the infirmary, and walk back to where i was resting. He pulled a stool and sat near my bed. I was sleeping, well i was pretending i was. My head hurt a little much to fall asleep. I hear Aiden chuckled, then it turns into a low quiet laugh. I open my eyes, confused.

Me:" What's so funny?"

His eyes widen and he stops laughing. He shooks his head and then look at me.

Aiden:" Just a girl who has a passion for acting. Arya i think her name was, she said Kane hit you, and it was not the first time. She also told me he forced himself on you, but she was there to interfere."

I froze.. so she told.. i turned to look at him and ask " And do you believe her?"

Aiden:" She's lying, Kane was in the field beating some other guy, he told me himself because he came to the infirmary. All i know, she could be the one hurting you"

I fake a smile at him "It's not her, i believe its not her. She did interfere when i was being harmed." He didn't believe Arya, if i tell him, would he believe me?

Aiden:" Kane is a great guy, he may have acted like a dick the first time you met, but that's all in the past. He won't hurt you, he is protecting you. I will make sure he doesn't leave your side, you must be careful. He is my friend, i believe in him"

I smiled sadly at him and look down. I laid back down " I'm going to rest some more, ask Max to send my work through emails at the end of school so i can catch on what i missed. I'll talk to you later"

Aiden nodded, he doesn't understand. He kissed my cheek and took his jacket. He was about to leave when i called him.

Me:" Aiden!"

Him:" Mmh?"

Me:" Nevermind, love you, have a nice day"

Him:" You too, Amelia"

and with that he left, Kane was right. I am a coward, i can't even stand up for myself. But i don't want their friendship ruined because of me. I sigh and curled in my bed, i finally fell asleep. Couples hours or i don't know how long but when i woke up, my mum was slowly shaking my shoulder to wake me up.

Mother:" Hey sweetie, are you doing better?" she ask. I look at the time and realized we missed the engagement practice, why did it have to be so early?

Me:" I'm fine, mum. Let's go home. Is it still possible to do the practice?"

Mother:" I think you shouldn't push yourself to much, you are already hurt, and you have a bruise on your cheek. It will not look good for tomorrow"

Me:" Mum?"

Mother:" Yes darling?"

Me:" I....i'm scared mum, the person who keeps attacking me. He nearly.... he nearly r*pe me." I was now crying, my face were in my hands as i sobbed loudly.

Mother:" Such a disappointment. You are useless, how will Aiden love you knowing that? How could you let a man touch you. Are you a slut?"

I raised my head, i didn't understand. Why was she acting like that.

Mother:" You are a disgrace, you are no longer my daughter. Get lost!"

Me:" No, Mum, don't leave me. Mum, I love you. Please"

I sob louder as i tried to stand up to catch my mother,  but i only trip on my feet and fell on the floor.

Aiden:" How could you?" 

I raised my head at the familiar voice. " Aiden, believe me. I stop him, nothing happened. He forced himself on me!"

Aiden:" With what you wore today, i am not surprised, are you trying to seduce other men in this school? You know what, I don't a slut as a fiancée. So get lost too. I don' know why i loved you"
