My Ruined Love

The next day I woke up, feeling the empty space next to me. He must have left a little while later after I fell asleep again. He had that soothing comforting hug that brought me back to sleep. It was pleasant. I stretch from my bed and got ready. I did my usual daily routine and ever since I got engaged I would place the ring on my finger. I felt giddy. And today I decided to put on a baby pink knee length dress, with shoulder straps. I wore a white small cardigan to cover my shoulder. I had curled my hair and added earrings today. My daily light makeup consisted of pencil, mascara and lip stick. Nothing grandiose or to much, just simple.

I walk down the stairs to eat my breakfast, my mum had left a note:

Sweetie,

Aiden left in the middle of the night with his parents. He is sorry he couldn't say goodbye to you, but he was happy that you could finally have a good night sleep because of him. It's also Friday today, and tonight is your practice day for the engagement ceremony tomorrow. So no plans!
Me and your dad had to leave early too due to a problem in the company with some clients so we will be back after you come back home. Wait for me for the practice.

I sigh, mum and her letters. She loved them. I took my apple and my bag before i left through the kitchen door. As i made my way to the car, i rolled my eyes as i saw Kane. Great, just what i needed. The day felt so fine without him. Upon my arrival and by the expression on my face, he grin and spoke. He was just adding fuel to the fire.

Kane:" Young Master Aiden ask his servant, Me, Young Master Kane Wood,  to take care of his Mistress Amelia" He spoke. I rolled my eyes, if eyes could speak he would hear how loud they rolled at his stupidness. I gritted my teeth before i step to the car and replied:

" I'd rather much to be with Max, at least he doesn't knock me unconscious!"

He grinned again and chuckled. Everything about him sounded evil and i just hate it, it was just making my blood boil, and this much needed feeling to just kick and punch him in the face rested in the back of my mind, but it felt like it was pushing its way through to action. I took a deep breathe as i got into the car. And released it once he closed the door. He went to the front passenger seat and ordered the driver away.

Kane: "How's the princess doing after her identity was revealed? Is it to complicated for the little miss?" He laughed.

Me:" Ha! Nothing is complicated, now shut up before i call Aiden and ask him to banish you from our engagement party" I threatened.

Kane:" Ooohh, threatening again, it wont work, sweetheart, gotta try harder. Aiden wont believe you and wont listen to you"

Me:" Just watch"

Kane:" You don't have the guts" He grinned.

I gritted my teeth as i kept quiet, i just stared at the window, he is right. I don't have the guts. Once the car stop at the school, i hurried out once again. I needed somewhere peaceful and decided to go on the rooftop, i knew it was a place where students barely went. I went into one of the corners, a secret place to keep calm. As i close my eyes to calm down, a low mocking laugh made her eye twitch. Great!!!

Kane:" Nice hiding spot, Princess"

Me:" What do you want?"

Kane:" Remember, i have to watch over you"
