Part 9: Dream dress
Alexia's P.O.V
I drove home, passing the many trees surrounding the roads. We had lived in Brooklyn for nearly 2 years now. It was peaceful as we lived on the outskirts. The sun shone bright and almost made the road glisten as if it was gold.
I pulled up outside the house, and went inside. Brandon was sitting on the sofa watching the tv. He turned towards me to see who it was.
"Did you find your dream dress, then?" Brandon asked getting up off the sofa and walking towards me.
"Yes, I did actually, but its bad luck to see it before the wedding, so you will have to wait."
"I'm sure its very beautiful, just like you" He whispered in my ear, causing me to smile.
The wedding was around a week away. We had been planning it for around 4 months as we needed to make sure everything was perfected. We were having the wedding at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, it was a very scenic place which was often used for weddings. We had viewed it a few weeks ago and as soon as we saw it, Alexia insisted it was the place for us, in which I agreed with. We booked the place for the 8th of August and set a deposit to confirm the booking.
But for now we had to play the waiting game.
The wait for I do.
