Hello readers !

Its been so long. It feels weird even typing on this app. Don't even get me started because I know it's been awhile. However, I didn't know the last time I updated was in September of 2018. Yeah I'm disappointed in myself but I was time went on, I understood why I gave on updating on Wattpad. I see a lot of comments everyday and I just want to give an update on what is really going on and what I've been trying to do for the last few months.

First off, no I didn't give up on this book. I'm still attached to this story and I still am achieving to finish this book. I will.  I love the characters and story too much.

However, I will not be finishing it on Wattpad.  There are a couple reasons why. One: this platform is open to people stealing your work. Ive been using this app for years and had so many people steal my work word for word. It was something that was unavoidable and hard to discover unless another reader informed me.  If I write a bomb ass story, I don't want it to be stolen from so many other "writers" without any consequences.

Two: I want more for my story. I want her to be published. I want to see physical copies of her. I want her to be written better.  As I started to write more and more, I realized I wanted something more than just for fun. It started it as something fun and leisurely but I want more. Sometimes when you're writing on Wattpad and you see other people getting paid and sponsored for their work, you feel a lack of fulfillment. I want to eventually see my story adapted into a movie or a television show.

Three: For the last 10 months, I've been reading a lot of books, I've experienced a lot and my writing skills have grown. I look back at certain dialogues, plots, and even characters, and cringe because it sounds so amateur. Reading books really help your writing skills, and I feel like my writing  then was...bad.  The only thing I worried about was writing an interesting story, I didn't focus enough on specific elements that make a good story.  (This observation is mainly for She's Mine because it is my older work.  He's Mine is a little better).

So, I decided to full on revise my book. I started at She's Mine, chapter one. Then I searched for grammatical errors, plot flaws,  and characters flaws. I've been doing this for a few months now. After revising a few chapters, I was confused as to why anyone really enjoyed it. I knew that I had done a lot of growing and the certain directions of the story was throwing me off. My goal is to edit my book, get it proofread and eventually publish it. I have changed a lot in terms of character behavior and plot. It's still has the same central theme but certain events have been tweaked. I just wanted it to feel polished and mature and less like a 16 year old fan girl wrote it.

I want to eventually publish the finished and improved copy on Amazon.  It might start off as a self-published e-book to a hard copy. That is what I'm hoping for.  I know this post is so random but this is literally the update on my book. It's being written better, and I have plans to publish it. I might figure out a way to conclude this story on here, I don't want to leave you guys hanging. If you guys have any questions or concerns, please ask them.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has read, commented, and promoted my book. You are the reason that I have the drive and courage to even want to publish my own work. You allowed me to believe in myself.

Thank you sm. ❤️
