Instead of his grandmother's hot soup, Namjoon woke up to an intense fire spreading throughout his body. He pinpointed the source of the feeling as his dick, as it was currently straining against his underwear in a very uncomfortable manor. The main thought on Namjoon's mind was that he needed to find an omega, whatever that was, and make them submit to him. In the back of his mind, he was very confused as to why he felt like that, but right then he was more concerned with finding this supposed omega. He moved to get out of his bed, only to find out that his hands and feet were tied to the frame. He started pulling against the restraints, grunts and growls escaping his throat as he tugged, only stopping when he felt something cool and damp on his forehead.
He turned his head and saw his grandmother sitting at the side of his bed, quickly realizing that she must have been the one to tie him up. "What is this?" The tone of his voice scared him, as it was deeper than normal and had a growling undertone, but he focused on the major problem right then. "What's going on? What's happening to me?"
His grandmother shushed him, moving the wet rag from his forehead to pat at his arms and chest. "It'll be over soon. This is for your own good."
He was going to ask him what his grandmother meant when another wave of fire, which he then discovered was very strong arousal, washed over him, making him buck and tug at the restraints again.
Everything that happened after that was a blur and Namjoon could only recall it in flashes. He wasn't even sure how much time had passed when he opened his eyes and, for the first time, didn't feel that burning sensation. Instead he felt like he was suffocating in the scent of lemon. He had barely woken when his grandmother shoved a bowl of soup in his face. Better late than never, Namjoon thought to himself as he accepted the bowl and started gulping it down. "Joonie," the elderly woman said as her grandson finished his food. "We need to have a talk."
Namjoon nodded, swallowing the last of his soup and setting the bowl to the side. "Yeah we do. What the hell was that?"
"That was you presenting." She said nonchalantly, as if Namjoon were supposed to know what that meant.
"Presenting? What-"
"As an alpha." His grandmother continued. "An alpha wolf." His eyebrows furrowed in confusion, and her next statement didn't help any. "We're wolves, Namjoon."
"Uh...okay..." Namjoon wasn't sure how to react to this information. Should he call a mental institution to come pick up his grandmother. "What do you mean by that?"
"I'm not from here." His grandmother said. "Remember how I told you when you were little that I was from a small village near the mountains?" Namjoon nodded. "It wasn't just a village. I'm from the Neugdae pack. We are a race of humans that are descended from wolves."
Namjoon started laughing. "Great story, Halmeoni, really, I loved it. Now, seriously, what's going on?"
"I am being serious, Namjoon." His grandmother says, no hint of joking seen anywhere in her expression. "When have I ever lied to you?" Namjoon's eyes widened as he realized just how serious she was being.
"So, all those stories you told me about werewolves-" Namjoon noticed the way his grandmother flinched at the use of that word, "-sorry, stories about humans that can turn into wolves...those weren't just stories?"
She shook her head. "They were all true."
Namjoon wanted to hyperventilate and freak out but forced himself to stay calm and have this conversation. "What did you mean when you said I presented as an alpha?"
"Whenever a pup, or baby as other humans call them, is born, they do not have a status. They are a clean slate. At some point in their life, usually earlier than you did but there are some late bloomers, their body goes through a change-"
