A new beginning

Chapter 9

When I saw Rose come in I stood up and said " Rose! I wasn't expecting them to let you in." She glared at me and said " Why not?" I said confidently " You see, they said only close family and friends are allowed in..." I got in her face and said " Not sluts." And She pointed a finger to the door and said with a smile " So that means you have to leave." I took her by her hair extensions and shoved her into a wall next to the elevators and said " You are the one leaving." She pushed me away and ran back into his room. She took him by his hand and said " Ken! I was so worried about you!" When she tried to kiss him he put his hand up to her face and said " Never in a million years would I kiss you." He looked at me and smiled and said " I only want to kiss one girl. And she has cared about me since the first day we met." I started to blush. I then said " You really mean it?" He nodded. She pushed me up against a wall and said " Look, You are a stupid emo brat that needs to get a life. All your life was made for was cutting." I said calmly " I haven't cut for three years." She said " I can change that." She pulled out a box cutter and took my wrists. I started to panic when she took my wrists I started saying in panic " What are you doing? What the hell are you doing?!" She put the box cutter to my wrist when I started to freak out. I started yelling " Stop! Put it down! Leave me alone!" Then I felt a sharp pain in my wrist. I looked and blood dripped down my wrist. she went lower to old scars and cut there too. the pain was so unbearable I screamed " STOP! IT HURTS!" Ken yelled at her to stop but couldn't get out of his bed. Felix went out and got a doctor because the nurse was busy trying to keep Ken in his bed. The doctor raced in and saw her cut my wrist. He pried her off of me and she said " Why should I stop?! She likes it!" I started sliding down the wall. I was going in and out of being conscience and the doctor lost grip on her and she crouched down and picked up my wrist and squeezed it tightly and said " Feels good right?" I tried to say no but couldn't say it. She was held back by the doctor again and was taken out of the room. Then everything went black.

I woke up maybe an hour later with my wrists bandaged up. Ken was asleep again. I smiled and stood up. I walked over to him. He looked so tired around his eyes. I sat next to him again and just got on my phone and started checking my Facebook. Nothing was happening as usual when Ken woke up screaming. I took him by his shoulder and said " It's okay Ken. It was all just a dream." He let out a deep breath. I put his head to my chest and asked him " What happened?" He said " I was having a dream you left me. And you got hurt." I smiled and looked at him dead in the eyes and said " I already told you, I am never leaving you again." He smiled and the doctor walked in kind of worried. When he saw it was just him after a dream he let out a sigh of relief. A little bit after he checked his blood pressure and blood sugar and stuff like that he said " As long as he starts eating solid food and keeps it down he should be able to leave tomorrow." I smiled and he already had his hand intervened with mine. The next day he got to sign out of the hospital and when we got to his house he wanted to make a gaming video. He said " Let go make a video." I agreed. So he got all of his things set up and said when he started recording " Hey there guys. Cinnamon toast Ken here and we are about to play Happy wheels. I am trying to take it nice and slow for now. I just got out of the hospital. Oh! Today I am here with my girlfriend Mackenzie. Come say hi Mackenzie!" I sat down next to him and said to the camera " Hello!" and he said " Hey all of you girls out there who are disrespecting her calm down. Lay off the hater-ade. So let's start the game." He started to play and when he would die he would switch to me for a turn. I would yell a lot and cuss and apologize. He said after ten minutes of recording " Thanks for watching! Stay toasty my friends!" And turned off the camera. He edited the video and sat next to me after putting the movie " Annabelle" in the DVD player. I nestled my head in his neck and got ready for the movie. He wasn't scared during it as much as I was. I screamed and freaked out. So he laughed at me most of the time. Eventually he put his arm around me when I was just getting finished having a heart attack. After a while I fell asleep in his arms. He woke me up and said " Do you want to go to your house?" I shook my head no because I didn't want to leave him. He picked me up and I wrapped my hands around his neck. He laid me down on his bed. He sat down and held the place his stitches were and laid down next to me. I laid next to him and curled into a little ball. He wrapped his arm around me and we slept. I was in so much comfort. For the first time in years I was finally sincerely happy. When we woke up the first thing he said to me was " I love it when you smile, It's cute."
