Chapter 10

Mackenzie's P.O.V.

That was something I never expected to hear in the morning. And he is the only guy other than Sawyer that said that. When he did I smiled. He smiled back and he kissed me. I was so happy. Then someone called. I murmured under my breath and picked up my phone. I said in a too sweet voice " Hello?" and Tyler screamed " HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" I took the phone from my ear and looked at the calendar. The date said December seventh. My twenty fourth birthday. I rolled my eyes and said " Tyler, you know the rule. No calling until after nine o' clock." He said in defense " You never said anything about birthdays!" I said " You know well enough I meant birthdays and any other holiday too." Ken was dying from laughing because he knows that I was dead serious. Ken got a call from one of his friends and talked to him as I was talking to Tyler about how important sleep was. When Ken hung up I said to Tyler getting really annoyed " Yes Tyler, Hanukah does count as a normal day for me." He tried saying something and I said " Bye Tyler! Love you!" And made a kissy noise in the part where you talk into and hung up. Ken was looking at me smiling and said " Felix has the biggest surprise ever for you." I looked at him with a confused stare. I got up and got dressed. I decided to wear a red dress with my black spiked heels. I got into Ken's car and we drove to Felix's house. When we got in Martzia walked over to me with a huge smile and gave me a hug. I picked up Edgar and walked over to where Felix was. I said " Hey Felix. What's up?" He hid whatever he was trying to surprise me with and said " Go over there I will be there in a minute." I played with Edgar and Maya while he did what he had to do. He came back with his hands behind his back. He said " Close your eyes." I did and I said " Felix I hate surprises." He said " You are going to love this one." And he put something in my lap. He then said " Open your eyes." I opened my eyes to see the first picture me and Ken ever took together. It was when we were kissing in Disney land. Ken was smiling and said " Do you hate this surprise?" I was in shock. I said " I-It is beautiful. I love it. Thank you Felix." Felix gave me a side hug. I got up and gave Ken a hug. He pointed outside and said " Look! It's snowing!" I smiled and ran outside. I said to Ken " Come dance with me!" He came and danced with me. We were off and on for a while. But I didn't care. It felt like years. We loved each other. He stopped me in my tracks when Tyler, Troye, Joey and Cry came. I said " Ken? What's wrong?" He took a huge breath and said " Mackenzie Jane Fisher, The day I met you I fell in love with you. I couldn't spend a day without you. The amount of time I did spend without you was torture." His eyes got red and puffy. Then he got down on one knee. I said " Come on Ken let's go in it is freezing." He put a hand in the pocket of his jeans and pulled out a little black box. In unison everyone's mouth dropped. Including mine. He said with tears in his eyes " Will you marry me Mackenzie?"
