Noah's POV
The next Friday.
Penelope, Elliot, Karlee, and I were all to meet at the park at six. I got there early with Karlee. We waited together.
"Hey Karlee. What is your relationship with Elliot anyways?" I said turning to her.
"I don't know yet. To be completely honest. I won't know for a while." She says rubbing her arm.
"I will support whatever. But if he hurts you..." I start to say.
"You can't really say anything about hurting him because he will kill you if you tried. Ha ha." She says laughing at me. Before I could reply Penelope walked up with a slightly older woman.
"Who is this?" I asked Penelope.
"Carol. I figured we needed a little more strength than just Elliot and I." She says.
"Oh hi. Carol. I heard so much about you." I nervously greeted Carol.
"So you're the one that helped Penelope figure this out." she looks at me and says. She punches my shoulder. "So where is that other vampire?"
"I'm here! Who is this?" Elliot comes up.
"Carol. Now you ready to do this? And now what is that our bait Noah?" Penelope asks me.
"About that. I am the bait. I couldn't find anything to do the trick. I couldn't catch a squirrel or anything else." I say as I rubbed the back of my neck.
"What?! No!" Penelope yells at me.
"Penelope. There is no other choice. We'll protect him no worries." Carol says.
"Ok. But if you die..." She starts. " I will never be able to forgive myself."
We got into our places. I start to get extremely nervous. I heard some movement in the bushes. I then remembered that Penelope and the others are in the bushes. I smile at the thought of it being Penelope and the others. I felt hands on me.
I turn to face them, when I did I met red eyes with fangs. I tried to yell but he covered my mouth. "Don't worry I mastered killing people quietly." He says as he tries to bite my neck.
I waited for him to bite me but he never did. I heard a yell. "Now!" From Penelope. The guy took and pushes me away. He pushed a little too hard because I hit a tree. I felt stream of liquid running down my head. I saw Penelope on top of the attacker. She held him down as Carol handcuffs him behind his back.
Penelope runs towards me along with Karlee. They try to keep me conscious. I blacked out.

Penelope's POV
Noah went unconscious. I started to smell blood. I felt myself start to almost lose control. Elliot came and held me back from Noah. Carol handcuffed the new vampire and took him off to be registered, questioned, and punished for his actions.
"Hello 911. Yes my brother and our friends were hanging out here in the park. When he was attacked by an animal." Karlee calls the ambulance. "Yes. He is unconscious." She say looking at Noah. "OK thank you." She hangs up and she tries to cover my nose.
The ambulance finally arrives and carries Noah to the hospital. Karlee silent with them of course. Elliot tries to calm me down.
"Penelope. He will be OK." He says grabbing my shoulder.
"Yeah well what if he isn't?! Huh?!" I yell at him.
"Calm down! He is going to be fine! He has to be! OK!" He shakes me.
