Penelope's POV
Elliot drove me to the hospital. I ran to the desk and the woman looked at me. "What can I help you with?" She asks.
I wasn't able to speak. I just stared at her. Elliot wrapped his arm around me. "Hello Miss. My cousin here is still a little traumatized after seeing her boyfriend being attacked. We are here for her to check on him." Elliot says to the nurse. I jerked my head to him.
"I am sorry. I can't let you in the room. But you can wait out in the waiting room of the floor. What's his name?" She says.
"Noah Johns." Elliot says to her.
"Ah here we go. He is on the second floor." She says. We go to the elevator and head to the waiting room. I sit down in a chair and just examine my surroundings. Elliot sits next to me.
"I when I said you were Noah's girlfriend..." He started. "I don't know your feelings towards him. I just know we would have more of a chance to get news."
"Its OK. I don't mind." I said. Before he could say something again, Karlee comes in.
"I was told to leave the room. They are doing test right now." She said to me. I hugged her. Karlee and I both went and sat down. Elliot sat on the other side of her. He grabs her hand and she looks at him.
"Hey. I am sure he will be fine." He tried to soothe her.
"Thanks." She says.

Hours later.
Karlee had fallen asleep on Elliot's shoulder. I tried to close my eyes but I kept having horrifying thoughts. I got up and paced for a bit. Once I was done with that I sat back down. When five thirty o'clock rolled around, a doctor came in.
A:N please consider the fact that I am not a doctor or medical student. I am not a nurse or someone studying nursing either.
"He has swelling in his brain from the attack. There is a small chance of survival if it doesn't go down in time." He said. My heart sank. It felt like slow motion. I looked at Karlee. She had started crying and breaking down. Elliot held her. I looked down.
"Can we see him?" Karlee asked. He looks at her.
"Only you can." He says. This pisses her off.
"No! He is my brother. And these are his friends. And I need their support for me to get through this!" She grabbed his collar.
"On second thought, I will let you guys through." He says scared. She let's go of his collar and he sighs in relief. We leave to go to Noah's room.
Karlee walks in before us, then I, and finally Elliot. Karlee looks at me. Tears in her eyes, like the nightmare just hasn't set in yet. "Penelope." I look at her.
"Yes." I say.
"Since there is a very small chance of survival..." She breathes in. "I want you to turn him."
"Karlee. Do you know what you are asking?" I asked.
"Yes! I want him to be able to survive this. I know its technically surviving, but at least he will still be around." She grabs my arms. "Please?"
"OK. But can you leave the room?" I say.
"Yes." They both say and go to the hallway.
I walk to his bedside. I sit in the seat and grab his hand. Please don't hate me. I thought. I bent down and started the process. (I didn't want people reporting the story for being too gory or some stupid crap like that.) Once I drained most of his blood. You only need a little bit of blood to turn.
I went to walk out as I heard the flat line of the heart monitor. I put my hand on the door and was about to turn the door knob. All of the sudden, I hear a gasp, and turn around. "No-noah?" I asked.
"Yes." He said looking towards me.
"Are you feeling OK?" I say as I walk towards him.
"Yeah. Just my neck." He rubs where I bit him. "Did we get the guy?"
I nod and he over for me to sit down. I sit down next to him. He grabs my hands and pulls me close to him. "I waited to do this for so long." He says.
I gulp. "To do what?" I pushed slightly to look into his eyes.
"To do this." He kisses me before I could protest. I wanted to sink in but he need to know that he was now a vampire.
I push him slightly to break apart. "Noah. Hold on." He looks at me hurt.
"What Penelope?" He asks.
"You have to know something." I looked at him.
"What is it?" He asks me.
"Feel your neck." I say and he does it. I grab my phone and hand it to him to use as a mirror. "See?"
"Did he bite me?" He asks.
"No..." I say.
"Then who did?" He looks at me. "Was it you?"
"Yes." I scooted away. He didn't look at me anymore. Just sat there.
"Well one small bite don't hurt anyone." He looks at me and chuckles.
"Noah. You were probably going to die." I say as he drops the phone into his a lap.
"Does this mean-" he starts.
"Yes." I say and look down.
We are silent for a few moments. "What about Karlee?"
"She is fine. She asked me actually to. You know." I say.
I then thought about doctors. I push Noah down. He looks at me, shocked. "Play dead." I said whispering as doctors came bursting through the door.
10 mins later.
"Clear." One of the doctors said as they shocked him again. I walked outside the room. Karlee looks at me.
"Did you do it?" She asks.
"Yes. He woke up not long ago. I just told him to play dead." I say. At that moment a doctor walked out.
"I am so sorry for your loss." He says. We started to fake really well. All the doctors walked in and said their condolences. After they all left we went into the room.
I uncover his face. He tried to not smile. Karlee came and slapped his face. He jolts up. "Ow."

A week later
We planned a fake funeral for Noah and Carol helped make it seem real. That night Noah was registered and was assigned to Carol. I still felt guilty.
I go to his room and knock. "Noah."
"Yes. Come in." I walked in and he was sitting on his bed.
I go and sit next to him. "I wanted to apologize."
"For what?" He asks.
"All this." I say. He looks at me and chuckles.
"I guess we have a long time to make it up." He says. I laugh too.
"Also I'm sorry for what happened at the hospital." He looks at me.
"Make it up to me now then." He says and leans in to kiss me. I push him away, laughing.
"How about you wait til I'm not expecting it." I stand up and run to room and lock the door behind me.
"Come on. I wanted for so long." He bangs the door.
"Goodnight Noah!" I yell.
