LUTHER
Luther would be quite awkward. It's not that he doesn't want to express his love for you, it's just that he does not know how. Not only that, but he doesn't feel like anyone would accept him. Luther's spent his childhood feeling like he was never good enough, and as a young adult, he considered himself a freak, a monster, something disgusting and unloveable. In his head, he's not sure why anyone would think anything different. So when you come along, and you listen to his story, and you decide that what happened to him doesn't define him; he's kind of shocked. He's elated but shocked. Someone as beautiful and perfect as you want to be with him? It takes Luther some getting used to. He'll hold your hand whenever you two walk together admiring the city's nightlife, trying not to focus on the stares he gets from people passing by. But he knows he's okay when you squeeze his hand tighter, or when you rest your head on his upper arm (since you can't reach his broad shoulders). Luther looks down at you and you smile up at him and in the moment, it makes him feel confident. Luther stops walking, leans down, and he presses his lips against yours. You both can't help but smile into the kiss, holding one another's hands even tighter.

DIEGO
This man does not give a fuck about who sees him kiss your neck or give your ass a tight squeeze when he hugs you. The man is ruthless. Diego's a person who believes when you love someone, you prove it by showing it to them. When you both sit down in the lounge room, his arm will be wrapped around your shoulders. When you're seated and having dinner, his hand will lay on your knee underneath the table. Don't even get started on if you go out. Diego's a good dancer and an even more confident man, so the two of you never shy away from the dance floor. His hands would guide your waist to the rhythm of the music, his lips would press against your cheek or forehead or the back of your hand. And he'd smile at you before and after every kiss, just happy to be sharing a moment with the person he loves, admires, and respects. Diego would try his best to spoil you on every date, not even with fancy, material things, just with how romantic and praising he can be. The two of you don't focus on fancy meals or expensive hotels, you focus on planned picnics, nights sneaking into the drive-in cinema, and spontaneous walks through parks.
