"I throw my hands up in the air sometimes." The radio blared.
"Mailee shut that god damn thing off!" Logan yelled.
"Chill bro I'm just having fun! Pull that stick out of your ass." She said turning it down.
I was now fully awake and gazing out the windows into the dark sky and flat land.
"What time is it?" I asked
"It's about 2:40 am baby, you were out as soon as you bandaged my hand and slept like a rock." Logan said.
I looked around the interior of the vehicle taking it in. We were in a spacious van with black seats.

"You like the car?" Logan asked
I nodded, "when did we switch to this?"
"Ummm bout 11:30. Cant travel in the same vehicle you left in." He said.
"It's a gorgeous car." I said
"It's a 2019 Cadillac Escalade. She's my baby." Ashlee said from the drivers seat.

"I love it. Where are we going though?" I asked
"Home." Logan replied excitedly.

A lot of loooooong hours and Mailee's dramatic singing later.

I was staring out the window at the large houses we were passing when we drove into a large circle driveway to the largest house on the lane.
"Is this it?" I said with excitement.
"This is it baby." Logan said shutting off his phone and opening his door.
I went to open my door when I was stopped by Logan opening it for me.
"Let me open the door for my lady." He said taking my hand.
I replied with a smile and we walked hand in hand up the beautiful staircase.
