#Promise

                     My shift is finally done and I can't wait to get home already. Aside from the fact that I am still a bit shaken from today's incident, I have literally been on my toes all day and my legs are killing me! My Head nurse probably thought that I was an Energizer bunny that runs on full power as she sent me to do tasks one after another. She was also partly upset that it took me a long time to come back from my break even if I had explained to her the cause of my delay.

                   I quickly grabbed my backpack from my locker right after we have given change of shift report to the night crew. I literally was running down the stairs to get to the hospital lobby and exit out as quickly as I can, but the strong aroma of coffee being brewed from the nearby coffee stall made me slow down my steps.

                     "Aahhh! Why do I have to smell this now?" I said to myself.

                       If I have to admit to one guilty pleasure, it is definitely coffee. So I turned back and treated myself to a cup of good strong coffee. I walked out of that place with a smile on my face while sipping my comfort drink.

                        As I stepped out of the hospital premises, the nice breeze coming from the shore  nearby blew gently on my face. I savored it for a bit, inhaling slowly with my eyes closed. I opened my eyes and the presence of 2 men infront  of me caught me by surprise. I almost spilled the hot coffee on myself too.

                       "Hi! You getting off work now?" The man on the black shirt and pants asked with a half smile on his face.

                       "Yeah! I actually am. It's been a long day" I answered.

                         "So, is this her?" The other guy with him asked. He looked younger, and seemed very cheerful. He was wearing a matching white hoodie and sweatpants. He has  a very handsome face, and his eyes looked like they sparkle as he spoke.

                         "Yes, it was her."

                        "I'm sorry. We haven't introduced ourselves to you yet. Sorry to approach you like this. I am Sejin, and this is Tae." He courteously said.

                          " I have been trying to locate you all day, but I don't know where to look for you." He added.

                          " Hi Sejin! Hi Tae! It's very nice to meet you, but why were you looking for me? Is there anything I can help you with?

                          " You see.... Jimin asked to look for you."

                          "Jimin? Who is Jimin? Do I know him?" I asked. while trying to search my overworked brain if I know somebody named Jimin.

                       "You've met him earlier today, at the garden. Remember? But I'm sure that he wasn't able to tell you his name.

                         "Oh! The patient at the VIP floor! That's his name? Jimin?" I quipped.

                          " You are so cute! No wonder our Jiminie wanted to see you again!" Tae said playfully.

                           That remark caught me by surprise and I felt myself blush a little. I took another sip of my coffee to hide my embarrassment. I'm not used to receiving compliments like that.

                          " So! Why were you looking for me again?" I asked as I gulped down another sip of my precious coffee.

                         " He wanted to personally thank you for helping him earlier.  I would be asking you to come with us to see him in his room, but they gave him another dose of his pain medication, so I'm sure he will be knocked out for the rest of the night." He said
