Camila's Pov

"I'll take him inside" Damon said and I nodded my head before placing a sleeping Ethan into his arms before I followed him from behind, into his house.

I watched as he took Ethan up the stairs. Ethan was hugging his father and was stirring in his sleep a little and Damon paused for a moment on the stairs as he waited for Ethan to stop stirring before he proceed to walk again but Ethan never stopped.

He kept stirring and moving his head around as if he was trying to see of he was in the correct arms. He kept stirring for a few seconds then his eyes slowly opened and it began to scan all over the place until it landed on me.

"Ms. Davis" he cried while stretching his hands towards me and I looked at him with a sad expression because I didn't want him to cry.

Ethan continued to cry while he tired to wiggle himself out of his dad's arm so he could come to me and I looked over to Damon to ask him for permission to hold Ethan which he instantly granted.

I quickly took Ethan into my arms and he immediately stopped crying as he buried his head into my chest. A little smile made its way to my lips after seeing that he had calm down and I made sure my arms were wrapped firmly around him before I followed Damon up to Ethan's room.

Damon opened the door for me as we've arrive at the second floor and was now standing in front of Ethan's room. Letting me enter first, Damon quickly followed after and pulled his son's duvet over before I placed Ethan on the bed.

I looked down to a pale face Ethan who was half asleep and decided that I'll leave so that he could sleep in one peace so I send Damon, who was making Ethan comfortable, a hand gesture that 'I'm leaving' before I proceed to leave but stopped when I felt small hands holding unto mine.

"Don't go" A small voice said and I felt my heart clench a bit.

I slowly turned around, locking eyes with the cutest child ever and felt my heart clench when I looked at his face that looked like if he was about to cry if I leave.

Letting out a breath, I turned to Damon who had a shocked look on his face. I wanted to ask him for permission to stay a little longer but I didn't know if he would want that because my work time had gone a long time ago and it was now almost seven in the night but It seem like he knew what I was gonna ask for because he only nodded his head.

Passing a smile over to him, I mouthed a 'Thank you' before I went back over to Ethan and sat next to him. I looked up back to Damon and saw that he was dialing a number before he mouthed 'I'll be right back' and left the room.

"Ms. Davis" A small voice called and I turned my head back to Ethan who was looking at me.

"Yes Ethan?"

"Do you like kids?" He asked, tilting his head as usual with curiosity lingering in his eyes.

"Not...really" I answered honestly. I don't really like children because they remind me of my son, who was kidnapped five years ago but for some reason I like Ethan....a lot.
