The beginning (capter 1)

Death day's pov

I was wandering the woods in my mask and sweater when I saw him the "man" I was looking for the tall being was hardly even a man but he treated me differently, almost with respect... I ran up to him and said "I've been looking for you since I was 12 why did you finally show yourself to me now?" He looked shocked almost taken aback but he thought for a moment and replied gently "because I thought you were scared of me..." I hugged him and said "I was never scared I looked to you with respect." Then all the rest of them came out from behind the trees all the people I've wanted to meet.. Jeff, Ben, jane, ej, Masky, Toby, hoodie, and splendor with his brother trendor. I backed up dropped to my knees and smiled I just sat there crying slenderman asked out of nowhere "what's wrong?!" I giggle through the tears and say "I've wanted to meet all of you and tell all of you I person you all saved me when the rest of the world didn't care, and you didn't even know it." Jeff and Ben were shocked Jane walked up to me,knelt down and asked me "how? We haven't met you until just now." I said happily "you all gave me something to live for and to find while everyone else just ignored me or hated me you all were my escape." I hugged her she was shocked at first but relaxed and hugged back. I just sat there crying all my happiness into her shoulder. Then finally slendy spoke up "um I'm sorry what is your name?" I took a second and said "my name used to be Jenna valentine but now it's Death day." He asked me "why did you change your name?, Jena is beautiful!" I replied "because I was taunted with it, I was held to high standards that were to high, and they threw it in my face for it, screaming at me, and with that name I learned how to mask my real emotions so well I sometimes even fooled myself." He and all the people around me were shocked but before they said anything I said "but just because I've tried to die, or even gave up don't treat me any different all I want is respect, but if you don't have any I don't mind just treat me normally just like any other friend you have, but don't ever call me by my old name because I will lose all respect for you, but if you respect me you will learn I'm trustworthy and protective of my friends because I know what it's like to think someone is a friend and then they stab you in the back." I stood up and asked them all "do you all want to see why I think you will treat me differently?" They all nodded silently I pushed up my sleeves and revealed row apon row of horizontal lines on the inside and outside of both arms , I took of my mask and opened my eyes my big X shaped scar across my face I watched them as they looked from one corner of the big X at my forehead all the way diagonally to the bottom of my jaw bone. Ben asked me "why?" I said "because I saw no way out." And I smiled EJ then questioned "all at once?" I calmly replied "yes, all at once" he continued "wouldn't that kill you?" I answered again "yes, but it didn't" I smiled wider "why are you smiling" trendor asked the unasked question. So I answered "because to see that all of you actually care about me makes me happy." I collapsed out of exhaustion because I haven't slept for 3 days I woke up later on a black cloth couch with a blanket on me I sat up and yawned and stretched I noticed someone was siting on my lower legs on top of the blanket and I saw it was Ben, he was playing pac man. I said "mornin." He jumped slightly as if he hadn't noticed I woke. up he said "hey." I asked him "how long was I out for?" He returned to his game and said "about 2 days." I was shocked had I really slept that long?! I told him I was getting up so he got up and let me get up and he sat back down I was walking around and wasn't looking where I was going and ran into slendy. I say ran into but I realy mean we collided and we both fell. As he helped me up he said "I'm surprised to see you are up, how long have you been awake?" I replied "about 8 minuets, why?" He quickly said "Because I needed to give you this it was a smooth circular stone on a chain. I asked him "what's this?" He replied intelligently "it's snowflake quartz." I stood there awkwardly then said "oh, that looks pretty." He beamed "really?" "Yea." I stood there not knowing what to say he finally said "well of course it is it's yours!" "Realy?" I questioned sheepishly. He told me to turn around and hold up my hair. I did so and he put the necklace on me and told me to turn around and quietly said "for once trendor was right." I giggled because of that. He was shocked I heard him and said "how did you hear that?!" "It wasn't really that hard, I'm sure Jeff or Ben could have heard it." I confusedly replied. He looked at me like I was crazy, thought for awhile and said "oh never mind let me take you on a tour around 'the house'" he smiled or I say smiled but he had no mouth to smile with but I knew what he ment.
