Calm before the storm (chapter 4)

Slendy's pov

I went in to the living room and I saw that death day and ej were playing soul calibur 5 I said "you guys are getting along great!" And smiled they said in unison "yea.." In the least enthusiastic tone and went back to the game and then suddenly death day shot up and screamed "YEA!!!!, I WON!!" Then ej mumbled "yea cus I let you." She turned to him giggled and said "you are just upset you lost to a girl!" He smirked. I smiled and said "you two are so funny." I walked into the kitchen and saw Ben sitting and staring at the wall I cleared my throat and said "hey Ben are you okay?" He was shaken out of his thoughts and said "oh,hey slendy." I was confused he wasn't usually this glum "what's wrong Ben?" He shrugged and said "I donno.... Who do you think she likes?" I was shocked "what?who?" He got a little annoyed and said "you know, death day." I didn't know what to say "ummmm I don't know. Who do you think?" He thought for a second and said "either jeff, me, or ej" I didn't know what to do so I asked him "why are you thinking about this?" He shrugged his shoulders and said "I donno I guess it's cuz there's not a lot of girls here." I was wondering why that was true but I continued "then why are you acting like someone painted over your eyes?" Then he snapped out of the trance and looked right at me "because I can see her falling for them and I don't know what to do!" I was surprised but asked this "you love her?" He looked at me like I was stupid "yes! I do!!" All I could say was "oh"so I got up and went outside to go hunt. When I got back in the living room death day was napping on ej's lap on the couch. I shook my head and smiled a small smile and walked into my bedroom. I sat down at my desk and started to sketch out a couple and all I could see for their faces was ej and death day.
