Because you fucking know it already and honestly you couldn't care less. You are more than comfortable sitting alone on a table for two. And you are perfectly fine with not having a plus one to take to the next event. And when people ask you why someone as awesome as you is still single, you don't feel the need to make excuses for the choices you make. You realize that there are more goals to life then being the next #RelationshipGoals on Instagram. You invest in yourself. You know that being amazing is more than important than finding someone amazing. You chase promotions, take off to explore a new place whenever you feel like it and have a new adventure while others drive themselves crazy over analyzing an extra exclamation mark in a text.
On Girls Night out, while the rest of them discuss their latest dramas, you order another margarita because you know it isn't going to end with you dissolving in a drunken tears and it gives you the strength to deal with when the rest of them invariably do. And when you return to your huge king sized bed for you and you alone and you sleep like a small baby knowing that you don't have to wake up at 3 am to say good morning to the one that moved to another timezone.
