"Welcome to U.A."
Izuku lowered his gaze from the enormous high school. A rat? dog? bear? thing stood in front of them.
"I am Principle Nedzu." He said. "You must be Izuku and Shouto then, correct?"
Izuku nodded numbly in shock.
The Principle smiled. "Good! Nice to see you again, Fayumi. You can leave your luggage right here. I'll have someone pick it up and take it to your dorms. I'll take you and introduce you to your class. Please follow me."
Izuku and Shouto hugged their sister and followed the Principle into the school.
The halls were complicated, and Izuku had to work hard to commit the rout they took from memory, at the same time as he was trying to count all the windows.
He was on number four-hundred and seventy seven, in the hall after he turned left from a right and up from a third hall about seven hallways from the entrance and three floors up, when Principle Nedzu led them to a quiet corner.
He studied Izuku and Shouto thoughtfully.
"As you know," He said, "Most of the teachers here are pro heroes. I have refrained from telling them your other identities, for the sake of your education. Knowing the teachers we have here, they'd probably arrest you on the spot before they stopped to think things through first." The Principle smiled.
"I'm sorry, sir?" Shouto asked, his voice void of emotion.
"Oh, the fact that you're Psy and Frostfire, of course." The Principle said.
Izuku stepped back once.
"Oh, don't worry." Principle Nedzu told them. "I can assure you now, that I'm the only one here in this school who knows your identities as the Twin Vigilantes. Unless inevitable circumstances arise, any of which I highly doubt will occur, I promise that I will not tell anyone else at this school about this. Your secret is safe with me."
He looked at the two boys again, an odd expression on his face. Pity? Concern?
"I would also like you two to know that now that your brother, Natsuo, is of an appropriate age, he has moved out, and is now safely out of harms way. He has also come to me and a number of pro heroes and lawyers to see if he can file a lawsuit against your father for obvious reasons."
The Principle spoke carefully, obviously trying to avoid accidentally triggering Izuku's flashbacks.
Shouto breathed a sigh of relief. "So we're all out now?" He asked.
Principle Nedzu nodded. "Yes. Plus, I believe that your brother will be coming to visit as soon as I tell him you're here."
"But Sir, how can we come to school here? Touya said we'd pose as exchange students, but our father is sure to find out we're here. And I'd rather not find out what will happen when he does." Izuku said timidly.
"Well," Said the Principle, "I will answer yes to both of your questions. Yes, you will be posing as exchange students. The other teachers and I have crafted a story that should clear things up a bit.'
'We are now saying you were kidnapped and taken to America, where you ran away from your captor, but were found and taken to an orphanage. You were eventually adopted, and went to the American Academy for Brilliant Young Heroes, the second best hero school in America. We at U. A., heard about your great academic success and offered you two a scholarship here. You two accepted, and here you are."
"Okay..." Shouto said, taking it in, while Izuku furiously scribbled down the details in a pocket notebook of his. Izuku paused.
"But about our father..."
"Ah yes." Principle Nedzu said. "He will most likely find out you are here. But-" He said as Izuku's eyes widened. "As long as you are within the school grounds, or under the supervision of a U. A. teacher, he cannot lay a finger on you. In any case, he rarely leaves his home nowadays unless on patrol, so you should be able to attend class outings outside. We will do everything in our power to keep you safe."
Izuku bowed. "Thank you, Sir."
Shouto followed suit.
The Principle smiled. "It's quite alright." He said. "Now, let's get to your classroom."
They eventually stopped in front of a huge door. Izuku looked up, wondering why it was so large. He wrote the question down in his notebook to ask later.
Principle Nedzu turned back toward them. "I'll go speak to the teacher and the class now." He said. "Come in when I announce your names." He smiled gently. "I think you'll fit right in."
He turned, opened the door, and walked in.
Izuku could hear loud conversation inside the room, and wondered if there was actually a lesson going on or not. He could hear Principle Nedzu from inside now.
"Oh, Mr. Aizawa, did I interrupt your nap time? My sincerest apologies. I must have forgotten to send a warning."
Izuku glanced at Shouto. Nap time? Shouto shrugged.
"In any case, I'm here now." The Principle said, addressing the class now. "Today we have two new students joining your number. They are brothers, and exchange students from America, who's amazing progress gained our attention here at U. A. We offered them a scholarship, which they accepted."
There was a pause and a low murmuring. Then the Principle spoke again.
"Good question, Iida. No, there should not be a language barrier problem, as both of them were born in Japan, and speak Japanese fluently. They only moved to America when they were nine years old, so you should have no problems communicating. But I'll say, they are fluent in English as well, and are far ahead in several subjects. I hope you all welcome them with open arms, and make it your responsibility to help them along as they adjust to a new place again."
The Principle paused, probably smiling at the class. He seemed to smile a lot.
"Alright." He said. "Please welcome the Todorokis. Shouto and-"
There was a shout. "Izuku?!"
Izuku looked up from the ground as he walked into the classroom, and met familiar, angry, ruby red eyes.
He blinked. "Kacchan?"
