Katsuki Bakugou grabbed his bag from his bed and opened the door to an excited redhead.
"Bakubro! Morning!" He said.
"Morning, Kiri." Bakugou grumbled, making his way to the kitchen. He dropped his bag on a chair and went around grabbing things for his and Kirishima's breakfast.
Bakugou already felt tired, which meant it was going to be a looong day. He had this nagging feeling that something big was going to happen today, but he shook it off and ignored it. The biggest thing that happened nowadays was a sparring class, since the school had been taking extra measures since the villain attacks earlier this year.
Kirishima welcomed the newly dubbed, 'Baku-squad', into the kitchen.
Mina, Denki and Kirishima immediately started chatting, disrupting the silence that Bakugou had been enjoying. Sero looked about as tired as Bakugou felt, as he opened the fridge and grabbed some of the left-over dinner from the night before.
"Hey, Bakugou!" Mina piped. "Why do you always wear those two bracelets?" She pointed to the two friendship bracelets on Bakugou's right wrist.
Bakugou looked down at them. One of them was bright green, with an All Might charm on it, and the other was ruby red, with an explosion charm. Both of the bracelets were falling apart slowly, as they had been made with clumsy, four year-old hands.
He sighed. 'It's none of your business, Mina." He said defensively.
Mina pouted. "I was gonna say I like them. I just wanted to know know why you don't take them off."
"I said it was none of your business, Raccoon Eyes!" He yelled.
"Hey Bakubro, what's wrong?" Kirishima asked.
"It's nothing, Kiri." Bakugou grumbled, handing him a plate of eggs. "Just eat. We have class in an hour."
He sat down grumpily and ate as quickly as he could. He double-checked his bag, and then waited for Kirishima to catch up before heading out of the dorms to the main school building.
Momo and Iida were already sitting at their desks when they arrived, and Uraraka and Tsuyu were chatting by theirs.
Tokoyami sat in the corner, talking with Dark Shadow. As Bakugou and Kirishima walked to their seats, Denki burst in through the door, trying to strike up a friendly conversation with Shinsou, who clearly wanted nothing to do with him, and looked like he needed twelve more cups of coffee than he'd already had.
A/N Sorry, I know how annoying these can be in the middle of a chapter, but I just wanted to note that in this story, Mineta has already been expelled, and Shinsou is in Class 1-A. Also, there will be no romance in this story, as I don't really feel there's any need for it right now. Thanks :)
Eventually, all of class 1-A had arrived, and Mr. Aizawa started a lecture on some sort of hero lesson.
The lecture kind of turned into a loud conversation between Denki and Mina, and Iida yelling at them. Eventually, Mr. Aizawa gave up and went to sleep on the floor, so everyone else started talking as well.
Bakugou wasn't really paying attention, instead choosing to sketch a cat in green pen in his notebook.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and the Principle walked in.
The class started murmuring as the Principle just smiled.
Mr. Aizawa sat up and glared questioningly at the principle, who wasn't fazed.
