Sovereign Solitude

There he stands and looks,
Alone in this vast field,
Not regretting the chance he took,
To see what the aftermath would wield.

Things left behind and broken off,
At the memories he doesn't scoff,
Wondering where this new path would lead,
Could it work for a new seed?

Sovereign he waits for his time,
To solitude he resigned,
Old wounds left unchecked,
Eventually broke their neck.
