Since Tasuku Ryuenji, a member of the Buddy Police, was having a day off. He was so bored that he kept changing channels all day.

Tasuku: *sigh* I'm going out....

Tasuku was walking around the mall until he saw a poster.

Buddy Amie, Buy now!

Tasuku: Hm..... Seems interesting, I should check it out, but theres too many people....*light bulb appears* I've got it!

So Tasuku decided to wear a disguise, he bought a cap that says "Light", fake glasses and a black wig.

Tasuku: Alright, lets go!

Upon entering the store, a bunch of people were lining up the counter, holding Buddy Amie in their hands.

Boy #1: Hurry up!

Boy #2: C'mon, speed up! Will ya?!

Girl #1: I'm gonna be late for my date!

Tasuku's jaw dropped at the line, so he took the game from the shelf and started to join the line.

～Timeskip, Tasuku's apartment～

Tasuku just returned from the mall, his fake glasses broke and his hat was torn apart. At least he bought the game.

Tasuku:F-finally..! *lies down on the couch*

Tasuku's pocket glowed, Tasuku reached out for his pocket and then called for his Buddy, Jacknife Dragon, or simply Jack, in his mini form.

Jack: Hey, Tasuk- What the heck happened to you?! And why is your hair black?!

Tasuku: L-long story.... *faints*

Jack: * gasp* TASUKU!! Don't die on me! TASUKU!!

Tasuku:....*snores*

Jack:......Eh?

TS: Jack, Tasuku's fainted due to the lack off sleep. That's all.

Jack: Oh, thanks, TS.

TS: Welc-welcs.

Jack grabbed a blanket and covered Tasuku (where did the blanket came from, nobody knows). Jack curled into a ball and fell asleep.

～The next morning～

Tasuku: *yawns* Morning, Jack.

Jack:*snores*

Tasuku: Still aspleep, huh? Now time to play!

Tasuku unpacked the game and checked the manual.

Tasuku: Hm... For 3DS only? I think I have one... Let me check.

Tasuku slowly walked to his room and started to check everywhere.

Tasuku: Found it! *victory pose*

Tasuku ran back downstairs and inserted the chip.

Tasuku: I hope this is worth 1590 yen.*turns the 3DS on*

Game: Select Buddy!

The screen showed a red lion wearing a blue hat with a sun pin, a yellow tiger wearing a shirt with a tiger print and a blue dog wearing a blue bandanna. Tasuku selected the yellow tiger and named it Noboru.

～During work, Buddy Police HQ～

Stella: Oh! Good morning, Tasuku. How your day off?

Tasuku:...... Like having a bee hive stuck in my head....*mumble*

Stella: I-i'm sorry, come again?

Tasuku: Ah, n-nothing! Yesterday was fun! Eh... See ya! *runs off*

When no one was around, Tasuku sat down and got his 3DS, he turned the power on and played.

Game:I'm hungry. Feed me!

Tasuku selected a cookie and fed it to Noboru.

Game: Mm! That was delicious, thatnks!

Tasuku: You're welcome.....

Jack: *appears out of nowhere* Who are you talking to?

Tasuku: AH! Don't scare me like that!

Jack: Whatever, lets just go on patrol already!

Tasuku: Ok.

Whenever Jack turns around, Tasuku continues to play.

Game: Pet me!

Tasuku dragged the stylus to Noboru's head and slides it back and forth.

Game: Purr......

Tasuku:*laughs* Pfft!

Jack: ?!

Jack:TS! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO TASUKU?! HE'S LAUGHING LIKE A MANIAC NOW!*points at Tasuku*

TS:Meh, don't care, Tasuku, would you do the honors?
