Chapter 12

Pansy pov

I giggle watching Hermione put shaving cream on Draco hand, let's be clear we woke up early for this, she hands me the feather, I start aggravating Draco nose area, making toss around a bit. He slaps his face making the shaving cream go everywhere on his face, we start silently laughing, he starts moving, making us both scared, we head out the tent and hide. Silence makes me anxious and fearful, " are you kidding me" he yells, we both start laughing, watching him struggle in the tent is even more hilarious. I grab Hermione's arm and we run behind some tree's, I struggle trying to catch my breath as Hermione sits down sighing, " he's gonna get us back" I say. She lays down and scoffs, " he doesn't even know It's us," she says, I sit down and sigh happily, " Its kinda obvious were the only ones not in the tent," I say.

I shiver when I hear footsteps getting close, " Hermione I think he's looking for us" whisper, she gets up quietly, " Hermione run over there" I whisper, she shakes her head no, I point to go. She runs and goes behind the other trees, " I'm sorry, I'm taking one for the team" I whisper, I get up and run in the wide-open, Draco sees me and runs after me. I run in the forest with him on my trail, I'm so gonna die, jumping over sticks and logs, I trip and fall in a hole with a thud, I open my eyes to see light reflecting on me. It's the sunshine, I get up and wince, I crawl out the hole breathing heavily, I look around to see Draco looking for me, I start running back to camp, I step on a branch making me stop. I look behind me to see Draco coming at me, I break for It, I fall on my stomach and lay down, slowly starting to breathe again, It's over I lost, Draco looks at me and glares. 

I laugh nervously, " so you did It, I'm rather not surprised, I pranked you all the time, I'll let you go," he says, I sit up," I know she helped you out as well but you didn't want her to get caught, I'm so proud of you" he whispers. I facepalm and get up, " so did he tell you, your future question," I ask, Draco nods," It kinda made me think about being more serious," he says. He looks at me, " how did your answer make you feel, Pansy" he says, I shrug and turn around " ruff patches and growing up" I say, " you go wake Harry up and get ready to leave" I say. I walk over to Hermione, " Hey I didn't die" I say, she hits my shoulder, " yeah but you left me" she says, I laugh, " I only fell in a hole" I say. She looks at my knees and grabs my arm, "let's go to the tent to patch you up" she says, walking more like dragging me, I look to Harry and talking, he waves at me, I wave back. 

I sit down and watch Hermione clean up my knees, appalling alcohol on a rag, closes her medkit and puts It in her bag, " thanks for looking out for me" I say, she crosses her arms, "It's basically my job to look after you" she says.

Harry pov

We laugh at Hermione reply, she just shakes her head and brings out a book, I tap Pansy on the shoulder, she looks at me and we walk outside heading to the lake. We sit down, " I heard you pranked Draco this morning," I say, she laughs, " he chased me in the forest, he wouldn't let me escape so I just laid there," she says still laughing, I chuckle. She stops laughing and looks at the lake, " Harry when did you realize you liked him" she says, I sigh deeply and play with fingers. " Well when you went missing, he became so serious and caring for your safety I was surprised to see him act like this, he was in the library looking up ways to find you, I fell for his caring hospitality and how he never gave up," I say. I smile at Pansy, " I just think that he might act the same way about me If I got hurt, I can rely on him and I can trust him" I say, Pansy, smiles " I'm so happy to hear that" she says.  

She pulls away and sighs, " I'm gonna tell you a secret of Dracos but you can't freak out or tell him," she says, I nod, " Draco may or may not feel the same way about you," she says. I grab her shoulders " he likes me back" I say, she coughs and looks away, " Pansy please does he really like me back" I say pleading. She sighs and nods, I pull her in a hug and smile, " Harry your .... gonn.a .. kill me" she mutters, I let go and she breathes," just don't tell Draco I told you, or he will murder me" she says. Wait, how I'm I gonna confess, " how do I tell him back," I say shaking her, she groans and slaps me, " first off calm down, second off that's your problem. Besides, I don't wanna ruin it for you so do It yourself, I can help you distract him or keep him busy while you plan something" she says.

I can set up a surprise date, " I know what to do, tomorrow I want you to distract Draco for me while I prepare something then bring him to my dorm at lunchtime" I say, she nods and gets up, " got It. We should get going were leaving in ten minutes" she says, we walk back to our tent, Draco is staring at Pansy with envy, while Pansy just smirks. I shake my head and grab my bag, we head back to our dorms, I lay on my bed and sigh, I can't wait to tell him.
