Emerald-green eyes softly opened taking in the surrounding area, Tom Riddle once again found himself lying on the floor before intaking the pulsing headache, he suddenly took notice of the manacle shackled to his arms. 'What in Merlin's name' Tom's eyes widened he quickly scanned the dungeon noticing he was kneeling with four armored men standing ready with drawn swords. "Excuse me, can I know where I am and why I'm shackled?." Then out of nowhere, Tom was startled he gasped in shock as a jade green light glowed from a deep cut on his right hand. "What is this? Who are you, people? Answer me damnit!." The Slytherin snapped biting his lower lip as the pain numbed he wondered what curse was placed on him or what could've happened to Nagini?.

The wooden door soon flung open startling Tom, he internal flinched from the glare he received from the armored woman and felt a bit uncomfortable by how close the other woman was analyzing him. "Tell me why we shouldn't kill you now. The Conclave is destroyed. Everyone who attended is dead. Except we found you." The armored woman spoke coldly containing her anger yet Tom didn't understand why such emotions were directed at him, he could see her eyes filled with grief, anger, and fault. The Slytherin stayed silent he tried to calculate the position he was in but his head hurt anytime he tried to form a thought. 'Nagini, where could she be in all of this.'

"You think I'm responsible?." She gripped his hand and held it up as the scar flared once again forcing Tom to wince he mentally kept himself calm while trying to understand what happened yet something felt missing.

"Explain this." She hissed, Tom couldn't explain what the scar on his was. It was something unlike he had ever seen and that was new for him since he knew little of the Dark Artes from his Housemates so he shook his head "Speak."

"I...Can't." He responded

"What do you mean, you can't?." She asked

"I don't know what that is or how it got there." Tom replied

"What do you mean, you don't know?." She seemed to be at her calming limit and about to smack him

"I, I don't remember everything's fuzzy" He flinched when she snatched him by the collar of his uniform then outing him on his blunt lie she looked to be prepared to smack him but the other stopped her attempt.

"He's a child Cassandra, we need him." The other woman seemed a bit rational than the warrior "We found you unconscious, injured, and barely alive at the Conclave. Do you remember what happened?. How this began?." She gently asked

"My head hurts so I'm not sure. I remember being in class then I kept hearing voices I don't know what they were saying and everything changed. I found myself in a weird place then running, things chasing me and then a woman?." Tom repeated his experience he lowered his eyes from the armored woman named Cassandra.

"Voices and a woman?."

"Whatever she was, she helped me get away from those things but I honestly can't remember anything else"

"Go to the forward camp Leliana. I will take him to the rift." Once the other woman named Leliana left. Tom was pulled to his feet and his manacles replaced with ropes before Cassandra dragging him outside she noticed him trying to stand up but failing she sighed "Com'on ride on my back, it'll be easier." Tom felt a bitter at being weak as he climbed on her and apologized but the woman didn't mind assisting especially after the reports of his conditions showed how terribly injured he was.

Tom gasped it wasn't hard to notice the large tear in the sky emitting the same jaded light as his scar. "Bloody Merlin." He was speechless and beyond shocked. "What happened? What is that thing?." He asked Cassandra.
