They say those who hail from the Theirin Bloodline have never been defeated in battle, they displayed bloodlust that can surpass a Demon and jeweled eyes passed down generation to generation no Kingdom dared to start a conflict with them out of the fear of being enslaved or killed. Imperial Prince Kenji Alphonse Valmont son of Empress Celene was never interested by the Nobles around him but none of them caught his complete attention than The Inquisitor or should he say Aletheia Tenebris Theirin, Crown Prince of the Ferelden Empire. At first it was infuriating that someone dared to drag the name of his deceased fiancé's name through the mud by impersonating them even if that person was The Herald of Andraste.

The fighting techniques, the jeweled eyes and that killing intent those aspect truly belonged to the Theirin Bloodline and even his attempt to kill the other basically failed, Prince Kenji couldn't keep his attention of this so called Inquisitor he observed the returned Prince lurking around the Palace and Kenji was intrigued by the mysterious work of his mind and desired to learn more of his fiancé he especially had questions that needed to be answered

The Crowned Prince was drenched in blood yet what made the audience interested was his composure even in such a dire state, The Prince stepped forward to the shocked Duchess "Duchess Florianne don't we owe the Court one more show, your grace" The Imperial Prince stood beside the Empress his attire was torn just as the Crown Prince "The eyes of every Noble in The Empire are upon us, your grace remember to smile. This your party, you wouldn't want them to think you had lost control" The Crown Prince stepped forward closer like a serpent ready to launch at the Duchess he merely smiled showing his dagger-like fangs

"Who...Would not be delighted to speak with your Majesty" She stuttered Kenji sensed his mother mind shifting gears she immediately knew something was wrong but listened and he spoke after the Crown Prince

"I seem to recall you saying 'All I needed was to keep you out of the ballroom long enough to strike'"

"'Even in their darkest dreams no one imagines I would assassinate Celene'" Tom added he stalked around Florianne his Emerald eyes flickering unnaturally "When your archers failed to kill me and The Imperial Prince I feared you wouldn't save me this last dance"

"It's so predictable Cousin, you even framed your brother for the murder of a Council Emissary" Kenji declared loudly with a smirk he could see the Grand Duke pale shock "It was an ambitious plan, Mother, Gaspard, The Entire Council of Heralds, The Inquisition, me, The Crown Prince...All your enemies under one roof"

"This is very entertaining but you do not imagine anyone believes your wild stories?" She denied but mother disagreed and he audacity to attack both Princes "Gaspard? You cannot believe this! you know I would never...Gaspard?!" The Crown Prince chucked and in the blink of an eye his gripped her throat tightly

"Did you honestly believe only you can play the game of 'Chess'? I am not a fool who would step into an unknown territory without the knowledge of those around me including the Major Factions I know your history, Florianne De Chalone, 2nd child to Grand Duchess Melisande Valmont and Duke Theodore De Chalons, am I correct" She paled aware he knew more than he spoke "Yes I know of the details concerning your little family, so here's the thing the moment you challenged me? You lost the fight even before it began, you're just the last to find out" Prince Kenji knew that fear was a motivator but he can see in those eyes Florianne's fate was worse than Death. She sobbed in fear and humiliation as the Ferelden Guards dragged her away "Your Imperial Majesty, I think we should speak in private elsewhere" Kenji watched the Ferelden Prince and his mother left the Ballroom he silently followed stand outside listening to the Grand Duke, The Ambassador and his mother speak while the Herald stood far from them observing them with a bored expression
