Identity Paradox ~ V-Hope

Chapter 3

Taehyung arrived at school just in time for the first bell to ring. Students were still hanging around and killing time before the second bell, when they had to get to class.

Tae gets out of his car and makes his way to the Administration Office. As he walks he can sense people staring at him. He even catches a couple of people not so subtly elbowing their friends to direct their attention towards him too. But no body made any attempt to approach Taehyung.

One of Taehyungs old friends, from the country, had once told Tae that he had an incredibly intimidating aura, lying just underneath his sweet scent. Some people can never see past his scent of strawberries and honey, a scent that is unheard of for an Alpha, so they assume him to be weak and not worth their time. But for others his scent is completely drowned out by the intimidating aura that they can sense, to them he seems dangerous and unapproachable. His friend also told him that it doesn't help that he doesn't open up to people easily, he rarely smiles and is very guarded, it makes most people not want to be near him because they never know what he is thinking or what he could do.

But Taehyung doesn't mind too much. This way suits him best after all. He doesn't want a heap of strangers approaching him or hanging around him. And he doesn't need a whole lot of 'Friends' who he will need to lie to and keep secrets from.

At least this way the people who do actually approach him and try to befriend him, do it because the genuinely want to spend time with him and get to know him.

Taehyung finally makes it to the Administration office and walks in, immediately making his way to a woman sitting behind the desk. He notices another student speaking to a second Admin woman behind a desk, but pays them no more attention as he introduces himself to the woman in front of him, requesting his timetable and other documents.

As the woman hands the documents over to Tae she suddenly looks up at him as though realising something. 

" Did you recieve a tour around the school when you applied to transfer? Do you know where your classes are?"

" No actually. My parents handled the paperwork, I only arrived in town yesterday."

She looks at him as though considering his words and he quickly adds. " If you just point me in the right direction I'm sure I can find my way."

" Nonsense, this school is quite large and we don't want you getting lost on your first day, do we?"  She turns to look at the other student in the office, who was still speaking to the other administrator. " Jungkook, you will show the new student around won't you? He needs help getting to his classes. We can count on you, right?" She directs an overly large smile at the boy.

Taehyung looks over just in time to see the raven haired boy freeze. He tenses up and stares between Tae and the Administrator with large doe eyes, before his eyes finally settle on the Admin lady. Staring at her with tears in his eyes, practically pleading with her to not make him do this. They stare at each other for a while, seemingly holding a silent conversation.

Taehyung begins to feel a little uncomfortable in the charged silence and right when he is about to tell them to forget about it, he hears the boy, Jungkook, let out a sigh.

" Fine, I'll do it." he huffs out.
