Its a vibe

Her eyes slowly trailed the room, searching for the person who plugged in the computer.

The room was empty, and quiet. Maybe she had imagined it?

She slowly walks back to the chair and sits, staring at the monitor.

The words flowing through her mind again.

"You'll blow the whole city up"

"He's just gonna wish he was dead"

"Barry can't get out of his own head"

"It's too dangerous"

Whatever she was planning on doing, Barry was alive and zoom possibly was too, it could destroy the city.

If Barry wasn't alive then why would she imagine him saying things he's never said before?

Because you're insane

She ran her fingers through her hair slowly then she shakes the thoughts away and called Cisco's phone.

It buzzed for a few seconds then it picks up. The loud music caught her off guard.

"Jesus Christ- What the hell is that!" He exclaims on the other end then Caitlin rubs her temples.

"Cisco, is now a bad time?" She really hoped they were on the way back to the lab, mostly so he and Robin could begin building.

"Yeah- this prick here is trying to blow my eyebrows off!"

There was a dramatic gasp and then a woman speaking angrily in Spanish. It sounded dimly like Robin?

"Hey- hey! Speak English!" A mans voice yells then Caitlin groans again.

"Cisco just hurry up and get back here, please... I need you" the voices fade for a little bit then Cisco's voice only "what is it? What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

She ran her fingers slowly through her hair. Cisco was like her brother, he would show up if this was urgent.

She wasn't entirely true right now was urgent.

They needed the parts to build the goggles but him arguing was stressful to listen to.

"Nothing. I just... I saw Barry again and zoom was with him and It just-" a warping blue portal opens and then her best friend hops out, his eyes glowing.

"You saw zoom?" He exhales heavily then she gave a short nod and cuts the phone off.

"I- I think I did. It was more like a dream or a hallucination" he walks around to the little mannequin, staring up at it.

"Do you think you could make him appear? We could go into the dream and see what he's trying to tell us."

Caitlin stares at him wide eyed "I haven't even thought of that" it's been done before. When they rescued Barry from the speed force (the first and second time) and when they found out Iris was going to be killed by savitar.

"We don't need the goggles..." he said, the hope clear on his face.

"You can vibe me there"

She smiles slowly as he nodded.

"We're gonna get Barry back" Cisco whispers then she laughs and nods quickly.

"Go Get Robin, I'll call Amanda" Cisco snaps his fingers together then he walks out into the hallway, opening a breach portal.

Caitlin quickly dials her number, the safe warm feeling in her stomach flickering, making it feel like butterflies. 

It buzzed for a few seconds then it picked up. Amanda groans into the phone, her way of saying hello I guess.

"Hey this is Caitlin, get to the lab we figured out how to get Barry back" Amanda groans again but there was shuffling on the other end so Caitlin assumed she was getting dressed.

The warping portal opened once more and Robin drops to the ground with a loud thud. Cisco gasped then he steps out of the portal.

"son of a bitch!" She exclaims and she slowly stands up.

"Why would you jump down!" Cisco said clearly annoyed.

"If a strange man grabs you by the waist and pulls you into another dimension please tell me what your reaction would be!"

Cisco rolls his eyes and turns to face Caitlin expectantly.

"Robin... we figured out how to get Barry back" Cisco nods motioning to her then robin crosses her arms skeptically.

"Alright, what's the plan Mario?"

Caitlin decided to ignore the ill fitting comparison and she stands up "okay, Cisco is going to vibe into my last memory with Barry and then he's going to talk to him"

She smiles slowly, feeling a sense of accomplishment

Robin looks at Cisco for a second then back to Caitlin "that's the whole plan? You're just going to look at her dreams?"

Cisco cringed silently "when you put it like that..."

The buzzing sound in the back of her mind was back. Caitlin waves them off dramatically "just shhhh shut- shut up!" They both looked back to her and she turns towards the door to the cortex.

"Cisco if we're going to do this I think now is the best time..."
