Chelz's P.O.V:
"What?!" I exclaimed. "Are you for real?" My mum nodded. My sister and I gave her a massive hug.
"Oh my god! Thanks you mum. Thank you." Cher said, over and over again.
"Go get packing girls." We nodded and Cher headed upstairs. I stayed behind, I wanted, needed, to ask my mum something.
"Hey mum? When are we leaving?" I asked.
"Day after tomorrow, we have to be at the airport at 5:00am. Why?"
"Will we ever come back? To see our friends and everything I mean?" I was getting upset. If I had to leave everything behind, I would definitely NOT be going.
"Maybe... In a few years..." she traied off. That's when I cracked it. I felt so angry!
"So you're just expecting Cher and I to move, to leave everything, everyone behind that we love?!" I nearly shouted it all. My mum looked at me.
"Chelz, darling. We need a break. We need to get away, and start fresh." she said, calmly.
"What? You mean liked us all leaving behind everything, including our memories of dad?!" she opened her mouth to say something, but no words came out. I felt tears running down my cheek. "I will NEVER EVER forget our father! He was the bravest man I ever knew!! You can forget him all you want, but I never will!" With that said, I ran out of the kitchen, up to my room and slammed the door. I immediately burst into tears.
2 days later:
My mum, Cher and I were sitting down waiting for our gate to be called. We had finished packing everything that would be sent over on a different flight, last night. Out gate was finally called and we walked up to the counter. As I handed the lady at the counter my ticket, I looked around me. I was going to miss this place a lot. I sighed, grabbed my ticket and went to find my seat on the plane. I settled down in my seat, and got redy for a long, boring flight ahead.
17 hours later:
I was woken up by my sister shaking my arm. Our flight was about to land. I thanked her for waking me and quickly put my seatbelt on. 10 minutes later, our plane landed. Everyone got off the plane and went to find their luggage. After we had found ours, we caught a taxi to our new home. When we arrived, we all went into our rooms and collapsed on the beds.
1 week later:
'I see you walk by,
Extra fly,
Where you going,
Can I roll? (Is it cool if I come with you baby),
Living beach li-'
I groaned and hit the stop button on my phone. I yawned, got up and stretched. I walked over to my walk-in robe and got some clothes out. I pulled out my light-washed denim shorts, a white singlet, a cream-coloured knit top and my bluey-green converse. I got changed and then put my necklace that had a 'dance' word charm on, my aqua rose earrings and my clear, aqua charm bracelet on. I had gotten the earrings, bracelet and necklace from my dad before he had died. I grabbed my canvas UK flag bag, iPhone and iPod and made my way downstairs. I quickly ate my toast and grabbed my lunch and put it into my bag. I grabbed a couple of books, said bye to my mum and raced out the door. Cher had the day off, as she was in year 12 and had a 'study day'.
