Chapter 17

I stir from my comfortable sleep to the most annoying sound on Earth; my alarm on my phone. I reach to turn it off but I end up hitting Ari in the face. Oops, didn't mean to do that. Sliding out of the bed, I head to the bathroom with my phone. Sleep still has it's grip on me so I put some music on to wake me up fully. Already knowing the song I want to play, I find it and hit plays on the song. 'Scar' by I Prevail; it's a rock song and any rock music can wake me up or put me to sleep; beginning to jam out before taking a shower, god does this shower feel so nice after everything that happened yesterday. Once, I got out of the shower, I put a Stitch theme clothes today; taking the music off so I didn't wake up Ari but to find that there's an empty bed. I pull out my phone from my jean shorts to see it's Thursday and it's 7 in the morning. Ari's at the gym but he probably skips breakfast like always when it's a weekday. Walking downstairs to see Ari's gang still sleeping; a thought pops up in my head.

"WHAT ARE YOU, GUYS STILL SLEEPING FOR!?", I scream.

All of Ari's gang members wake up in a fright; they all look around before their eyes land on me. They all rush to get dressed so they can get to the gym. Smiling because I know that I got them to listen to me; heading to the kitchen so I can make everyone's breakfast. I hear feet running out of the house; good they're going so I don't have to worry that Ari and they would still be waiting for them. I quickly make 30 or more toast, so they have something in their stomachs and their not working out on an empty stomach. Walking the back way to get to the gym, just in case I run into Angel and the other girls; I get to the gym, where I see everyone stretching.

"Before you guys start working out eat some toast so your not working out on an empty stomach because that can cause more trouble than good.", I say holding the plate out in front of myself.

Everyone runs to get some toast, some of them grab more than on and pass it to a member of the gang. Laughing at how they're acting like their starving puppies. I put the plate down on the table after the mob of people stopped coming after me. Making my way back to the house but I get stopped by Angel and a few other girls; I don't want to see them or deal with them today.

"So, you think you can just take Ari like that?!", Angel says/ asks me.

"I mean, I didn't do anything," I say in a bored tone.

"We're going to have a singing battle!", Angel screams.

I don't say anything but I do continue to walk back to the house, I got more important things to do than deal with a fucking sing-off with her. Shoving her out of my way; I got no time for this bitch. I get stopped by someone again but this time it wasn't Angel who stopped me. I pulled my arm out of their hands because I not in the mood to be stopped by females.

"Look, I'm not in the mood to deal with you, guys. I need to do things and one of them is not dealing with you guys for sure. So if you guys would mind leaving me alone, I'll appreciate it a lot."I say, not looking at them.

The girl that was holding my arm tightens her hold before she talks. "Too bad, you're going to deal with us if you like it or not! You took Ari away from us!"

"Oh my fucking god! He was never going to pick any of you! Like goddamn, find someone else to bother, I'm getting sick and tired of all you guys.", I snapped at them.

The girl finally let's go of my arm but I get punched in the face by another girl. The punch catches me by surprise which leads me to the ground being kicked, punched, etc by the females. I don't know how long they have beaten me up; I know I could have fought back but it's not in my nature to hit a girl even if I dress as on.

"HEY! What are you guys doing?'' a girl screams at the girls beating me up.

"Mind your own business, Kenzie!", another girl says.
