"So she came to apologize to you, and you didn't accept it?" I asked.
"No, I don't want her apology" Merlin spoke.
"You really need to put that behind you Merlin"
He looked down. I walked over to him and grabbed his face.
"It's never gonna happen again baby" I smirked.
He smiled.
Suddenly, I felt the urge to throw up or vomit. I ran straight to the bathroom and threw up.
"You okay baby" Merlin peeked in.
I looked down at it and seen that it was blood.
I was speechless for a second and I guess Merlin seen the look on my face, cause he walked inside.
"You okay mommy?" Destiny asked
"Go back to your room baby" Merlin said to Destiny.
I called my mom to watch Destiny and took Michelle to the hospital. The doctors did test and everything, I began to get very impatient. Soon the head doctor walked in.
"Ms. Thomas, how long have you been having symptoms?" The doctor asked
"Is throwing up a symptom?" I asked
He nodded
"2 months" I answered.
The doctor dropped his head and Merlin looked at me with a WTF look.
"Ms. Thomas, you have stomach cancer"
When I heard those words, I think my heart stopped and by the look on Merlin's face, I think his did too.

I was writing some poetry in my journal and listening to music in my living room.
I looked out the window and seen Aaliyah parking her car and coming to the door. I had the door unlocked so she can come right inside.
"He-....." I was finna say before Aaliyah cut me off.
"Turn the radio to 92.5" Aaliyah demanded.
I did as I was told and BOOM💥💥. Hit me right in the face.
"Aaliyah, I love it so much, but we all know who this song goes to" I said.
"I know" she replied.
"And what do you think he's gonna say about this song?" I asked
"I'm terrified to know the answer to that" she looked down.
