Sarah woke up. She got out of bed and got ready for school. Before she stopped and looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn't help but calling herself cute. She got to school and walked into the library. She sat down and waited for Mia. She got bored and decided to wander the library in search of a book. She went to grab a book when suddenly someone grabbed her sensitive sides and squeezed. She screeched and started to laugh. "Mia! You know I'm ticklish there." She said spinning around to look her friend in the face."Sorry, sorry. I just thought I could try and scare you." Mia said wiping tears out of her eyes. "Is Taylor here yet? I want to have a talk with Conner." Sarah said seriously. "Yeah, she just got here. Let's go." Mia said turning toward their table. They walked over to their table and Taylor looked at them. "Whatcha need?" She asked taking her headphones out. "Can you take us to Conner? We want to talk to him," Mia asked her friend in a sing-song voice. "Yeah, let's go," Taylor said standing up. Taylor led the way out of the door and down the hall. They walked into the cafeteria and walked to the table in the corner. "Hey, Conner wake up. You got some visitors." Taylor said poking the boy in the back. The boy looked up at them, he had brown hair that stuck up everywhere. "Hey, Ty-... Taylor who are these two losers," Conner said checking Mia and Sarah out. "These are my friends Sarah and Mia, they want to have a chat with you," Taylor said pointing at her friends. "Alright, but you've got to leave," Conner said to Taylor. "That's fine by me," Taylor said walking away.
"So, Michael and Stephen, how are you two faring?" Conner asked them. "Pretty poorly considering you flipped everyone's gender!" Sarah said angrily. "Well, I'd assume Michael would enjoy it considering he has always wanted to be a girl. Plus, his urges have been overtaking him." Conner said looking at Mia. "Wait, you warned me of following my urges and you've been falling to yours?" Sarah asked Mia angrily. "Sarah, this is all I've ever wanted. I'm only trying to change it back for you because I don't think this is how you'd want to live the rest of your life." Mia said looking her friend in the eyes. "Conner. Turn everyone back. What you did isn't right and no one should be forced to live a life that they don't want to." Sarah said facing Conner. "Only us three realize what happened. Nothing about the world is different. People still act the way they were going to if they were what they had been." Conner said. "Then why go through the effort of changing everyone?" Sarah said. "Well it could be that I wanted to date one of my friends, but I wouldn't do that because he was a guy and I'm not gay. It may also be that I changed everyone because changing all the memories would be easier that way." Conner said picking at the table. "So, you went through all of this effort for one person?" Sarah asked outraged. "Sarah, please calm down it isn't that big of a deal," Mia said putting her hand on Sarah's shoulder. "Michael, what do you think this is, a game?" Sarah said as she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Sarah, that's not what I mean," Mia said on the verge of tears. "Get away from me. You aren't him anymore," Sarah said in a cold voice. Mia stared at her friend in disbelief. She turned away and ran out of the cafeteria in tears. "Conner turn everyone back or this will end badly for you," Sarah said slamming her hands down on the table. Conner stood up. "And what are you, of all people, going to do to me?" Conner said walking over to Sarah, at least a head taller than her. "I'll strangle you in your sleep," She said threateningly. "Sure you will," Conner said returning to his seat. "Why can't you turn everyone back except for that one and leave the altered memories?" Sarah asked feeling flustered. "I've already put too much into changing everyone. Plus, there are only two left who remember so once you forget it'll all be easy again," Conner said putting his feet on the table. Sarah was so angry that she couldn't say anything and stormed off. She walked into the library and left without saying a word to anyone. --At Home-- Thinking about what happened that morning made Sarah angry beyond belief. She kept trying to text and call Mia, but she absolutely refused to answer. She didn't even show up to their last class. Sarah wished she didn't care that Mia was ignoring her, but now she was all alone, to lose her old life alone. She lay on her bed feeling tears coming. She tried to fight them off, but she couldn't hold them any longer and just started crying. She fell asleep with tears still leaking out of her eyes.
