Sarah was pacing her room. How was she going to make Conner turn her back? She couldn't figure it out. She walked to her closet and opened it. She got dressed only half focusing on it. She got to school and immediately started to hunt him down. She walked into the cafeteria and saw him sitting at the table from yesterday and Mia was sitting next to him. She was staring down at her lap. Sarah walked up to the table and started Conner in the eyes. "Change the world back now," Sarah demanded. "Listen, Sarah. I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. I should've tried to help you. My powers are near gone," Conner said sorrily. "You think I'm going to believe that?" Sarah asked. "Ask Mia. I tried to change her back earlier, but I only got her memories back," Conner said looking disappointed. "Is that true?" Sarah asked looking at Mia. "Yes. I could feel his powers faltering as my mind changed, but there may be enough for you because I didn't want to change back!" Mia said looking up at Sarah. Sarah looked at Mia's tear-covered face. "Fine," She said spitefully. "Good," Conner said standing up. Sarah took a step back as Conner approached her. "Don't be afraid. Just turn around and let me do the spell," Conner said looking her dead in the eyes. Sarah turned around and felt Conner put his hand on her back. "Here we go," He muttered. Sarah felt a pulse of electricity go through her body. She could hear Conner mumbling behind her and as he did her eyes began to get heavy. She tried to fight it, but heat was spreading through her body making her more tired. She tried to turn, but her body wouldn't listen. She started to grow and the warmth was seeping into her bones. She began to feel so sleepy that she fell asleep there with Conner's hand on her growing back. "Hello my child," Said a deep voice from the darkness around the human. "Who's there?" The human asked as their body changed. "I am the magic that is spreading through your body. I want to know what you truly want for your body," The voice said, its voice shaking the human's very soul. "I want to be a male with my old mind," The human said. "You shall retain your female memories, but they will take a backseat. Are you okay with that?" The voice continued. "I'm okay with that," The human said in a more masculine voice. "Stephen, when you wake up the world will remember you as a male and you, Conner, and Mia will be the only people who remember you as a female," The voice warned. "Good," Stephen said his body taking shape. "Now its time to wake up," The voice said fading. "Thank you," Stephen said as he began to wake up. When his eyes opened he was sitting in the nurse's office and Mia was sleeping in a nearby chair. Stephen sat up and looked around. The nurse wasn't there. Stephen looked at Mia and saw the golden locket in her hands. The bell rang and Mia woke with a start. She looked at Stephen and tears formed in her eyes. "Stephen, your back!" She cried hopping out of her chair. She ran over to Stephen and pulled him into a tight hug. "I missed you," she said. "Mia, I'm sorry for yelling at you yesterday," Stephen said not letting go of her. "It's my fault, I tried to act like it was nothing," She said holding him tighter. Stephen pulled out of the hug and looked Mia in the eyes. "Don't worry about that," Stephen said. "I bet we look like a couple who haven't seen each other in several months," Mia said laughing softly. Stephen laughed with her. "Let's go to class," Mia said. "Alright," Stephen said standing up and looking at the clock. "Wow, time for the last class already," Stephen said. "Yeah, I've been in here with you all day," Mia said. They walked out of the office and headed to class. Stephen looked at Mia and finally realized just how short she had become. "Wow, I didn't realize how short we were when we transformed," Stephen said looking down at her. "Well in this body I'm only 5'2" and your 5'11", practically a giant to me," Mia said. They entered the class and sat down. "Stephen. Since I've transformed I've had feelings for you." Mia whispered. Stephen looked at her and saw her holding and looking at the locket again. "Mia, you've already got a boyfriend," Stephen exclaimed. "I know, just if we ever break up I want to get with you," Mia said. "Alright," Stephen said. The bell rang again and the class began.
