Chapter 1.5

     Michael was sitting on the bus listening to his music. Today was just another school day. The bus pulled into the school lot and Michael was making to get off the bus and there was suddenly a bright flash. Michael stumbled a little and opened his eyes. He was on his hands and knees on the ground and a girl walked over to him. She helped him up, "Are you okay?" She asked. "I'm alright, thanks," Michael responded in a feminine voice. He looked down at his hands and they were smaller and his clothes had changed. He gasped and hurried into the school. He went straight to the bathroom and locked himself in a stall.                                                                                             He could tell he was a girl without even looking because he could feel the wind on his legs and the difference in his groin. She had two sets of memories, one as Michael and one as Mia. Michael had always wanted to be a girl and now he was Mia. She stood up and walked out of the stall. She looked at her self in the mirror and liked the new reddish-pink color of her eyes. She walked out and towards the library. When she got there she saw that her friend Sarah's stuff was there, but she wasn't. She walked over to Taylor, "Hey Tyler, do you know where Stephen is?" She asked her friend. The girl looked up at Mia and said, "Stop calling me Tyler, I hate that nickname, and if you're asking for Sarah she ran off to the bathroom." Mia looked at her friend. 'What happened? Why is she different?' She asked herself. She looked around the library and saw that everyone had flipped genders. 'Do they not notice?' She looked around at them again and none of them seemed to notice that anything was off. She ran off to her first class and got on the computers and started to see if she could find anything. She couldn't. She tried to figure out as much as she could and couldn't find anything about the change. It was now time for the final class and she got in just as the bell rang. She came in and sat down next to Sarah and looked at her. "Stephen, Sarah, what did you do?" She asked Sarah."Do you know what happened, Mia?" Sarah asked "There was a bright flash and the world was different. I was only able to come to the conclusion that it was something you did." Mia said as they got their stuff out for class. "This morning in the library, I got an email from an unknown sender and it said that if I clicked on the link then I would have a new life," Sarah confessed. "We can talk about this later," Mia said as the teacher started class.                                                                                                                                                            --Time skip to after school--                                                                                                                                                  Class ended and Mia stood up. "Sarah, go to the front gate and wait for me to get there," She said hurrying out of class. She ran out of class and got to Taylor's class. She walked in and grabbed her friend's arm before she could leave. "Taylor come with me. We need to go meet Sarah by the gate." Talor grabbed the rest of her stuff and they started walking together. "I know this may sound crazy, but this morning everyone was the opposite gender. Your name was Tyler, my name was Michael, and Sarah was Stephen, but Stephen did something stupid and now everyone is the opposite gender." Mia said as they walked out of the school. Mia looked at Talor and she looked very confused. "Mia that makes no sense. I would remember being a guy then suddenly becoming a girl." Taylor said angerly. "It's the unfortunate truth," Sarah said. "What proof do you have?" Taylor demanded. Mia pulled out her phone and scrolled through it and Sarah did the same, but all of their pictures showed them as girls. "You two are crazy. I'm leaving." Taylor said storming off. "Sarah, I don't know how to fix this. You'll have to live with it until we can figure out how to fix it." Mia said sounding defeated. "Alright. Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." Sarah said. Mia waved and walked off. She got on the bus and started thinking of how to change everything back. She noticed that she had crossed her legs like it was something she did every time she sat. "This isn't good." She said to herself as she realized what was happening. She pulled out her phone and typed a message to Sarah "We need to hurry, I think that we might become girls in body and in mind. We might lose our old selves, so we must be careful not to fall to our new bodies urges." She hit send and put her phone away.
