Please vote ? :) It makes me feel better to know that people are actually reading and reacting to my story. Also, this chapter is definitely the longest one so far (2500 words), just because I felt motivated and wanted to write some (kind of) fluff .

———————————————————

Taehyung is tired. Sue him. It's a little before midnight and he's been working since ass o'clock, stopping only to talk to the witch that is his daughter's mother. That wasn't much of a break as talking with that leech of a woman only managed to tire him out more.

Muscles sore, the back of his ears hurting from where his glasses were placed,(because Lord knows he is as blind as a newborn puppy, at least when he's supposed to be reading), eyelids practically falling shut as he attempts to keep himself awake. Unaware of it happening, his eyelids flutter closed and he dozes off, head falling forward to rest on his forearm.

What feels like two seconds later, he is rudely awoken by his phone ringing obnoxiously loudly. He grumbles sleepily, slides his hands around his desk in search of his phone. He finds it and touches around the screen, it's cracked, courtesy of Hannah. "What?" Taehyung asks, his voice even deeper and now dull with sleep. Somehow, he hit the right button, it seeming like the wrong one when he hears,

"Brat!" Seokjin's loud voice cracks from the other side of the line. "Where are you? Why didn't you call me when you went home?"

"Because I didn't go home." Taehyung blinks himself awake, straightening his back as he sits up.

"Where did you go?" Seokjin questions, voice laced with worry and .. hurt?

Taehyung chooses to ignore his question. "Where's Hannah?"

Seokjin sighs. "She's with me, don't worry. Where are you now?"

"I never left the office." Replies Taehyung, putting Seokjin on speaker as he stands up to stretch, a satisfying 'pop' of his bones going back into place echoes through the room and he yawns, ready to sleep again.

He hears a faint hum from Seokjin, then hears him say, "Think you can drive home? Or do you want to come to my place?" and would it be too much to admit he was happy Tae never left the office and didn't go to other people?

"'m tired... I'll be there soon. Bye." Taehyung hangs up before Seokjin could properly protest about him driving while he's sleepy, knows the lecture all too well.

Seokjin panics, eyes widening and he goes to offer Taehyung to come pick him up, but before he could he hears a beep. The brat really just hung up on him. He sighs exasperatedly, knowing that even if he tried to call Taehyung again he wouldn't pick up. Instead, he goes to the dresser to pick out the pair of sweatpants Taehyung had left at his place from previous times he's slept over.

Yes, Taehyung slept there before, and no, nothing happened.

Most of the time, he'd sleep there when Seokjin spends the day with Hannah and brings her to his apartment, all too lazy to drive all the way to the other side of the city to Taehyung's.

Okay, maybe it's not just laziness. Maybe he wants Taehyung to come and sleep at his place. Maybe it gives him comfort. Maybe he likes the fact that they sleep in one bed, his apartment having only one bedroom, therefore having only one king sized bed. And maybe, just maybe, he relishes in the fact that Taehyung can't sleep without hugging something or someone. Maybe he likes being little spoon.

He takes the sweatpants from his drawer, yawns and he happens to look over at the children's bed he'd placed in the corner of his room for times like this when Hannah is sleeping soundly in it, wrapped in just about a hundred blankets. He smiles at the sight of the little girl as she snores with her mouth slightly open. Deciding that the amount of the time he's staring at her had become a bit too creepy, he leaves the room and directs himself towards the kitchen. What? He wants tea.
