It's dark, late and most definitely time to head home.

Taehyung is humming along to a melody playing on the radio, stopping at a stoplight and he thinks; tonight is the last night Hannah spends with him before she goes back to Nuri for the next week. Tonight is also the last night Seokjin stays at his place until Hannah comes back and insists he sleeps over at Taehyung's apartment again.

The little girl is practically giving them chances left and right, yet both seem completely and utterly oblivious to all of them, and all of her tries. Even a three-year-old could see the feelings Seokjin and Taehyung had for each other. Even Hannah knew things they did weren't casual and friend-like.

Hell, they were together, they just didn't know it yet.

—Hannah always spends time in the company with them and it's better for her now as she has her own room to destroy and make a mess out of instead of Taehyung's office. When Hannah is there, Seokjin has to leave early to tend to her, since the little brat demands Seokjin takes care of her, refusing any babysitter and other friends of Taehyung's.—

Taehyung can't help himself. He wants Seokjin to stay. He wants to be able to get cuddles and home cooked breakfast, have the comfort of Seokjin sleeping beside him. The man was his best friend after all.

He hums on, time flying by as he is soon pulling up into the parking garage of his building. Taehyung finds the door to his apartment unlocked, never a good sign; meaning either Seokjin forgot or he just didn't want to walk and open the door. He walks into the living room to see Seokjin sitting on the couch, wrapped up in a fluffy blanket, a tub of ice cream in his hand and a giant spoon at his lips as he eats it, laptop in lap and he frowns at the screen of it.

Uh-oh.

This is sad Seokjin behaviour. Something happened.

"Hey." Taehyung greets.

Seokjin looks up at him, pout on his lips. "Hi." He murmurs.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Taehyung kicks off his shoes and goes to sit next to Seokjin.

"Nothing." Seokjin mumbles, focusing on the sad movie playing on his laptop.

"Come on, Jinnie~" Taehyung pokes at his arm, trying to make him smile but Seokjin only recoils. "Why are you sad?"

Seokjin sighs and digs out more ice cream. "I got stood up."

"Stood up?" Taehyung repeats. "What do you mean?"

"I was supposed to go on a date, but he didn't show up." Seokjin explains.

"When was I to be informed about this date?" Taehyung asks and Seokjin doesn't know how to judge the edge to his voice.

"When it worked out..?" Seokjin says, or more so asks, eyebrows furrowing in confusion at the cold tone of Taehyung's voice. He turns his head in Taehyung's direction to find him glaring at nothing in particular, watches the muscle of his jaw clench.

"Why were you even going to go on a date?" Taehyung questions, briefly looking at Seokjin then turning back to watch the movie.

"Because I haven't gone out in a year. Because this guy was really cute and it seemed like he was into me. Because I thought that it'd be really nice to go on a date." Seokjin reasons.

Taehyung opens his mouth to speak, seems to think better of it and pauses. A beat passes and he hesitates. "If you want... We could go on a date?"

"You mean the three of us?" Seokjin asks back, ice cream completely forgotten as it melts and he mindlessly sets it on the table.

"No, I mean... Just you and me." Taehyung explains, afraid to look up and see the reaction. Little did he know that keeping a smile of his face was getting borderline painful for Seokjin.
