2D sat in his seat as he crossed his long legs concentrating on his phone he was trying to remember his password because he had suddenly forgotten it. Frustrated he sat it back down on his lap when it locked on him for ten minutes again.

"That's a wrap for today, thank you everyone," the director said elatedly projecting his loud voice that achoed in the large studio.

2D didn't look up he just impatiently stared at his screen watching the minutes tick by until he could try to unlock it again. He sighed as he leaned back against his tall cast chair which had his name on the back of it. From a distance Ace was keeping a close eye on him as usual he wanted to interact with him but didn't feel confident enough to do so yet so his eyes rest heavily on him through his shades as everyone else celebrated with food and drinks at the buffet table. The music video for Trans was finally done everyone was very excited and couldn't wait till it was finally released for everyone else to see.

"Hey Acey." Someone stood In front of Ace, It was Noodle.

"Noodle, enjoying the celebrations?" He took a break from 2D to look at her.

"Yeah it's pretty great but I'm sure the view is amazing over there huh?" Noodle snickered as she drank her wine from her glass. "I was going to ask you if you wanted to come we are all going to the restaurant at Sunset again after this to further celebrate but it seems like someone else is on your mind." She smiled at him looking over at 2D.

Ace smiled as he looked over at as well still frustrated and unable to unlock his phone. "I think you pay too much attention to me." He chuckled.

"And you pay too much attention to 2D." She grinned at him. "I suggest you take him somewhere nice he deserves it after writing this whole album by himself and going to meetings, press confferences, photoshoots, band sessions, band rehersals and interviews. He worked really hard, especially not having Murdoc around I could tell he's down and he won't talk to us but you two have gotten very close and I think you could bring him back to normal I suggest Santa Monica or Venice beach."

"I was thinking that but I get really nervous around him." He sighs that he embarrassedly admits that.

"Ask him, I'm sure he's dying to say yes something different is always exciting for him." And with that Noodle moved on to the rest of crowd where they held conversations of all the projects they have finished together. It was just Ace and his thoughts racing through his brain seeing 2D there sitting across from him completely alone he was so nervous he couldn't move his feet until Noodle looked over at him and encouraged him to go.

Within that moment Ace got up from his chair. "H-hey D." Ace said as he walked over towards 2D looming over him. "Watcha up to why aren't cha celebrating with the rest of the gang?"

2D Looked up at him and gave him that cute smile that Ace simply couldn't resist. "My phone locked I forgot my password again." 2D sighed. "Everyone is Leaving right?" 2D was looking straight into Ace's shades searching for his eyes but when he couldn't find them he continued to smile at him.

"Yes, everyone is leaving soon but I hink I could help you with that." Ace smiled back at him leaning closer. "Your password is 1...2..3.. me'mber D?" 2D blinked slowly and smiled. "Oh yeah, I forgot." As he remembered he put the numbers in as it unlocked. "Thank yew Ace." 2D looked up at him with a relieved smile on his face. "Your welcome D, it's not the first time you've forgotten your password but I'll keep your secret and always be there to help if you need it." 2D nodded slowly and slipped his phone into his pocket.

2D and Ace decided to go to Santa Monica Beach as Noodle suggested. They walked around on the pier, and got on all the rides, ate all the food they wanted and played the mini games in the arcade. Time was fleeting but for them with each other it was eternal and blissful they were having so much fun the most fun for 2D especially he's never got to do such spontaneous things anymore and Murdoc never surprised him. Night fell and it was still young people were out enjoying the view on the beach and others brought interesting one of a kind things from venders that made them. 2D held Ace's arms as he pulled him all over the pier taking pictures with him and fans that stooped them by they bought suvineers and watched performers and even got a cartoon drawn for them. Ace had gave 2D a piggy back ride down to the beach as he was too tired to even walk Ace was elated to just be around the one person he Idolized since childhood he loved his child like energy and the way he spoke of the things he was passionate about. He was just so grateful for the opportunity to be apart of all of this and just getting to know all of them and becoming close and have a great friendship he couldn't even imagine going back back to his old life, although he missed it and he was still very tight with his gang this is something he truly wanted and he appreciate his close friendship with 2D and he wouldn't trade it for the world. As Ace approached the shore he let 2D off his back slowly as he got down they looked at each other intently 2D was holding his yellow low cut Converse as the sand hugged his colorful toenails.

"The moon is beautiful tonight." 2D says softly.

"Y-yeah... Ace was lost for words but he thought the only thing that was beautiful here was him.
"It is isn't?"

2D chuckles. "Ace you're not even looking at the moon." They start to laugh.

"We've all seen the moon before Mr. Pot." He smiles and turns around. 2D stopped in his track, no one's called him that since high school but somehow hearing Ace call him that unlocks something different within him.

"Can I ask you something Dee?" 2D slowly approached Ace and stood beside him. "Yes, what is it Ace?"

"Do you think Doc loves you?" He asked as he looks ahead towards the Ocean where the moon reflected in it. 2D couldn't answer such a question not confidently at least, mostly because he didn't know and he didn't care to know he just assumed he did he wouldn't have stayed with him for so long if he didn't. " I think he does, we've been together for such a very long time I've never imagine myself without him in my life a lot of the time it feels like he's never even there anymore... but somehow I believe he does love me sadly, he just registers it differently from most people." Ace looked up at him slowly and in 2D's eyes he saw he hopelessness within him.

"I appreciate Doc for the opportunity
