"There more ships around the city by the Evilustrator." Rene Rouge says as she walked up to the crew and Kagami leaders as they get ready to attack at nightfall.

"My men are ready to fight for their honor." Kagami mother said sternly.

"We will not coward again like your absent captain." Kagami comments at the missing seat then turn to Chat Noir to see how he reacts.

Viperion whispered down at Rene Rouge, "Where could she be?"

"I don't know, I couldn't find her anywhere." Rene Rouge responded as she looked at Chat Noir who was stomping impatiently.

"Ok lead the way Kagami." Chat Noir comments, "You've dealt with them longer, and this is your land."

"Thank you Chat Noir." Her mother said, "You allies is a great deal. Especially for the amount of time you worked with my daughter to save these people. Thank you for joining us."

"My pleasure." He said with graditude before turning back to Kagami.

Kagami nodded as she sent orders to attack at dawn. Ladybug never came to the meeting which caused concern for the whole crew. Once Kagami and her general left it to allow them to speak about her disappearance.

"Kitty cat what did you do?" Rene Rouge said with cross arms toward Chat Noir.

"I didn't do anything!" Chat argues before mumbling, "Well I don't know if I did."

"That's the last thing we need a rouge captain." Carapace groaned.

"You don't think they captured her?" Viperion said in concern.

"No." Chat Noir responded, "She's fine."

"Oh, and how would you know?" Rene Rouge says sarcastically as if he knew better.

"She can handle herself." Chat Noir says as he got up and put on his hat, "She will be first ready to fight at dawn. I know her."

He said it so confidently, Rene Rouge no longer questioned him as she glared at him as he left. The rest of the crew continued to talk about Ladybug whereabouts and the attack for dawn. Chat Noir was worried but knew that if she was a mermaid, he couldn't find her.

Before heading to sleep he went to pull out his mother book.

"Really you're going to read!" Plagg said in confusion.

"I need to stay up till Mari comes back." Chat Noir says as he sat on the sofa with the book. Plagg gave him an odd look before laying down to rest. Chat Noir looked out the window to see the moon reflecting on the ocean horizon. He sighed as he turned to the next entry of his mother diary.

Home, I haven't thought about since arriving at these inland elites. But when I was invited for tea with Gabriel parents I realized I didn't belong. It caused my first thoughts to attempt to return back to the ocean. However, my feeling for Gabriel conflicted with my decision.

"I don't know how I could show my appreciation for your hospitality." Emilie smiled towards Gabriel parents.

His mother nodded her head in polite acceptance."Consider our home, your home," she smiled politely, unfazed.

As she watched her tea being poured in front of her. Ther aura smell was delightful; She took a glance at everyone and caught Gabriel's eye out of the corner of hers.

When she turned her head slightly to look at him, he smirked at her and turned back to the oh-so-interesting conversation of his father's battles of war. She could feel a slight blush creep into her cheeks as she seemed unable to hold back a grandiose smile. As she turned back to the conversation, she notices the queen looking disapprovingly upon her. A deeper blush rose into her cheeks as her light fluttery feeling vanished. She quickly lowered her eyes and twisted the napkin in her lap in embarrassment.
