Emilie looked up at the confederation building, full of mixed emotions. She was excited but also felt worried and a bit scared. She was slightly pulled out of her thoughts when a familiar hand settled gently on her shoulder.

"Hey," said Felix, whose hand had been the one that was placed on Emiliel's shoulder.

"You okay," he asked, sensing her worry. There was a pause as Emilie continued to think for a little while more before answering him.

"Felix," asked Emilie.

"Yes," he answered in a slightly hesitant way because he still wasn't used to his mother saying his name after so many years.

She turned towards him with a concerned look on her face and asked, "What if he's upset?"

Felix looked at Adrien then both gave her a look as if the answer was obvious, which, to them, it was.

"Mom, if anyone should be worried about father not liking them, it's me," Adrien answered with a smile, hoping to cheer his mother up. She gave a slight smile but was still not convinced.

"This all father ever wanted." Adrien said, "And he going to love meeting you too Daph."

There was a slight pause as Daphne thought about what her brother had just said. Then, he gave her a comforting and loving smile and said, "Besides. Who could resist someone as cute as you?"

Daphne's face automatically frowned, "Your gross as a loving brother."

"I got to make up your 17 years." Adrien chuckles

Daphne chuckles at this last comment and rolled her eyes in pretend annoyance. She then notices her hand where her mother's wedding band used to be and sighed.

As they continued on their way to the castle, Adrien said to Emilie and Daphne, "Seriously, though, you'll be fine. Unlike me," he said as he stopped to tear the poster off the pillar. He then tore the poster into shreds and threw the pieces of paper on the ground.

"That because you're a wanted criminal, Adrien," Felix says as they enter the building where Adrien escaped.

Felix turned towards Adrien and saw him giving him a deadpan look. As they walked Daphne notice something flashed her eyes as she saw the prison tower.

"Lila..."

"Yeah, she's up there." Felix groans as he hated working alongside her.

Daphne looked at her hand again and stopped in her steps, "I have to say goodbye."

"What?" They all said at the same time.

"Its time I say goodbye to all of you. My work is done." Daphne sighed.

"What are you talking about sweetie," Emilie asked as she tried to approach Daphne as she stepped back.

"I was born in the Realm of Darkness where time works differently. As soon as you took me out of there..."

"Time was going to catch up," Emilie answered her face scared with confusion.

"When the abyss took you as a host and you left me your ring. The abyss enchanted it to prevent it until the heart was united"

"So I'm going to lose you?" Emilie started tearing up.

"Mom you can't ever lose me. I'm your daughter. I'm going to grow up with you again but with father in my life." Daphne smiled trying to reassure her, "Just promise to always remind me who I am. This is our second chance mom."

"I'm going to miss you so much," Emilie says as she embraced her daughter.

"You and I are going to survive this, either way, it'll probably be a lot easier to explain to Dad that he had a daughter anyway," Daphne tried to joked hoping to make the situation better.
