The horse's hooves violently struck the stone pavement, and the clip-clop sound echoed in the street. Villagers and passersby frantically ran out of the way as the horse ran as fast as it could, at the command of its rider, Adrien. The past several minutes had been a complete blur to the young pirate.

He had immediately jumped on a horse and rode to the harbor in order to figure out who exactly the girl was. He had been riding for several minutes. The harbor had just entered his line of sight. It would not be long before he would reach it.

"Hiya!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, kicking the side of the horse with his shoe, urging him to gallop even faster. His brain was going into hyperdrive.

He then felt Volpina flute call him and he was more confused about how she was doing it "You should of have left her, Marinette will die!"

He saw the boat already far away from land and saw the Evilustrator pushing down Marinette on the docks.

His heart seemed to stop. "Mari!" He yelled, as though by calling after her.
He could somehow reverse the horrible, vile thing he had done to let her be in that position.

He was off, speeding towards the ocean as fast as his horse could go. Even then, it wasn't fast enough. I'm coming, Mari, just hang on! He thought. I had to get to her, I had to!

Volpina's voice echoed through the forest. "She's fading fast!"

No, I wouldn't listen to her, wouldn't believe she was really . . . She didn't allow himself to finish the thought.

"If you hurry," Volpina continued, "I'll let you see her one last time." She was taunting him now as he tried to block out her voice, but it penetrated to every corner of his mind, haunting him, chilling him, sending shivers down his spine.

He entered a thicket of thorns as he went through the forest to try to catch up to the sailing ship. His horse reared and refused to move. "Go!" He said, urging him on. He wouldn't budge. Frantically, He leaped off and began hacking at the brambles with his sword.

He finally cut free and ran in the direction of the ocean, moving faster than he had ever done in his life. Then as soon as he reached the ocean he called out, "Plagg! Fins on." and dove into the ocean.

Marinette growled as the Evilustrator toss her to the floor of the deck. She still had the gag and her hands tied. She tries to look at the Evilustrator.

"Ok, love. Maybe you've heard of a terrible place where the pirates send their enemies." Evilustrator comments as he drew a plank at the edge of the ship.

Marinette's eyes widen as she then tries to get and run away to be stopped by the Reverser. He spun her around to face the Evilustrator, "Justice is swift here, little bug. Were cutting your banishment short. I am the lawyer and judge all in one." He then dragged Marinette onto the plank, "We find you totally innocent, which is the worst crime of all."  He then poked her back to take steps toward the end of the plank. She angrily looked at him as he continues to threaten her.

She muffled back at him angrily.

"Any last words?" He laughed.

She responded with muffled speech.

"That's what they all say."
