Another update for you all. I really can't wait for you guys to read this, its time for the big reveal that changes everything. Seems a little early in the story but I don't plan on having a very long book so I think it's well placed (although this isn't going to be the only big reveal we're going to have). Hope you all enjoy this next part.

(Alaric's POV)

Anna- 31 Robert- 33 Alaric- 19 Jason- 18 Greg- 18 Mike- 19

Today was the day, and I was terrified of what was going to happen. For the third time in the last 5 minutes I shuffled the papers in my hand, making sure they were all straight and together. Anna was on her way over, or at least that's what her text 10 minutes ago said, and I couldn't stop fidgeting in my seat. I decided to do this in my office, not trusting myself with her in any other setting after what happened yesterday. After me and the boys came back in Anna made an excuse and left, saying she needed to pick up some groceries, but she was gone for almost 2 hours, and by the time she came back I had to leave to go to the pack house. I gave her a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek as we loaded up and headed out. I waved to her as she watched us leave from the porch but I wanted more than anything to stay with her last night.

Jason walks into my office and sits in front of me. "She just passed over the borders, we have Mike and John following her car just to be safe, but she shouldn't have any problems now that she's on our land." He said, pausing for a moment like he was debating what to say next.

"Just spit it out already." I told him, getting impatient for Anna to get here.

"Some of the girls were wondering if they could stop by and say hi to her after your meeting. She hasn't been here for a while and some people are missing their Luna." He told me. I thought about it for a moment, unsure if that's what Anna would want or not.

"Let me talk to her first and I'll see what she wants to do after, but I am making no guarantees that she'll want to stay and hang out." I told him, hoping that would be enough for now.

"OK, I'll let the ladies know, but don't be surprised if you 'accidentally' run into them later." After he said that there was a knock at the door. I could tell from the scent that it was Anna and I was suddenly nervous as hell. "Do you want me to stay?" Jason asked, sensing my nervousness.

"No, I don't think she'll want an audience for this." I told him. "Just let her in on your way out." I told him, shuffling the papers again. He gave me an encouraging smile before getting up and heading to the door. He opened it and let Anna inside before heading out and shutting the door behind him. "Hey Anna." I greeted her as she sat down.

"Did we have to do this in here?" She asked as she looked around. "This place always gave me the creeps when Marcus had us here." She admitted.

"I thought this would be a safer setting. After what happened yesterday I don't entirely trust myself around you." I told her. "But hopefully this will be quick, so we won't be here long." I handed her the papers across the desk. "There is something Robert lied to you about, and I found out 2 years ago when I took over as Alpha, and I swear I wanted to tell you, but I didn't want to hurt you. I'm really sorry Anna." I waited in my seat for her to open the folder and read the papers inside.

As she started reading I became even more nervous, and as she began frantically flipping through the papers. I could see the tears gathering in her eyes as she closed the folder and looked up at me. "Is this true?" She asked.

"Yes, Marcus ran a background on us and this is what he found."

"And you've known for 2 years?" She asked, her anger coming through.
