Song I listened to while writing this imagine:

You didn't need your alarm clock this morning. The sun was so bright that you woke up automatically. It shone through your curtains. The temperature in your bedroom had also risen sharply, compared to last night.

You opened your eyes and the sun reminded you of something important. It was summer. You had waited so long for it and finally it was time! It was summer and the new swimming pool in the village would finally open today. Hawkins Pool.

You ran downstairs where your father was quietly reading a newspaper. "The new swimming pool is open today, Dad," you said. Your father nodded emotionlessly. You shrugged and ran back up. "I'm going to the pool soon, by the way," you said loud, looking for your bathing suit.

And that brings you here. At the entrance of the new swimming pool. You wear your dark blue bathing suit. It took you 10 minutes to find it, but it doesn't matter. You look through the gate. You look around the entire pool. The reflection of the sun in the clear blue water hurts your eyes. There are some mothers on the edge of the pool. They read a magazine and pay no attention to their children playing in the water. A girl with a red bathing suit sits on a high chair on the side. Life guard is written on the bathing suit.

Then you walk towards the cash register. You buy a ticket and walk towards a sun lounger. You lay down your towel. You decide to go straight into the water. Then you can dry up afterwards.

You sit on the edge and carefully feel with your toe whether the water is cold. It is ice cold. You carefully slide yourself into the water. You shiver with cold but you decide not to give up. Just keep moving.

In the corner of your eye you see the life guard girl climb out of the chair. You carefully hang aside because the water is too cold to immediately start swimming.

You see that the mothers suddenly put all their magazines away and sit up. What is happening?

Then you see it. A large blue door opens. A muscular boy with long, blond and curly hair walks out. He is only wearing red swimming trunks and sunglasses. There is also a whistle around his neck.

The mothers on the side all look at him. Now you understand why they all put away their magazine and sat up. The girl with the red bathing suit enters the blue door while the boy climbs into the high chair.

You have completely forgotten the icy water. But how can you go swimming? You are completely distracted by the boy in the chair. You don't dare to turn around and look. What if he looks too?

You decide to go for a casual swim. That does not stand out. You choose a simple back stroke.

When you reach the other side of the bath, you stand up for a moment. You look at the chair and then you see the boy look at you.

You look at the chair and then you see the boy look at you

Damn.

You look at him for a moment. You see that he is looking at you with a grin. He's a good looking guy, that's for sure.

You decide to continue swimming again, because that's what you came for after all. You lie down on your back again and pull a few laps. After a few minutes you hear a loud whistle. You immediately stop swimming. You look around and you see the life guard. He blows the whistle that hangs around his neck. He points to the side and tries to make it clear that you have to leave the pool. He climbs out of his chair and walks in your direction.

"Looking good out there!" You hear the boy shout as you carefully climb to the side.

You start to blush a little. The boy holds out his hand to you. You put your hand in his hand and he pulls you out of the pool.

"Perfect form ..." the boy then says.

"Thank you, I guess ..." you reply hesitantly, but blushing.

He starts to laugh. He has a nice smile.

"You know I could, uh, I could teach you if you like

"You know I could, uh, I could teach you if you like ..." he offers.

"Oh ..." you answer.

"I know all the styles ..." he begins.

"Freestyle, butterfly ..."

"Breaststroke ..." he says seductively.

You have no idea what to say. You just stand there and don't get the right words. All you can say is:

"I didn't know you could get swimming lessons here ..."

Shit, why did you say that? So stupid.

"You're right, it's not here. Come to think of it, there is a good pool at motel 6. It's very quiet, " he says.

Oh my god.

"So I'll see you tonight? 8 o'clock?"

"I'm sorry, I can't ..." you say. You don't even know him. What does he expect? Yes he is handsome, but that does not mean that he can get everyone just like that.

''Can't what? Have fun? "

"Listen, I don't even know your name. I have no idea who you are. What do you expect from me, exactly?''

"I thought you liked swimming lessons. It will be the workout of your life. I'm Billy, by the way. Billy Hargrove. I'll see you tonight, " he says.

He gives you a wink, turns around and walks back to his chair.

Who are you kidding? Of course he can get you, just look at him. With his appearance and charms, he wins everyone over. You included.

You walk over to your towel and you know it for sure; tonight you can be found at motel 6.
