My first imagine! It's not that good, but I tried :)
You are smart. Maybe a nerd? What does it matter. You are smart enough to give extra lessons. You are available as a tutor. You can often be found in the library.
You certainly do not belong to the so-called 'cool kids'. It does not matter. You don't mind being alone. It gives peace and relaxation. And it is the perfect way to focus on your future.
It's Monday. You are on your way to school and while you are cycling you hear a loud noise. It comes from behind. It is coming closer. You turn your head and see a car coming. It is the blue Camaro from Billy Hargrove. Is always very popular with the girls. Not your type, though. From what you've seen, he can be very aggressive. The car drives terribly fast and the sound of the hard engine meets you. When the car passes you, you hear 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' turned on very loudly. You are startled by the speed of the car.
When you arrive at school, you walk to your locker. You pass Billy in the hallway. He stands among a lot of girls. You look at him for a moment. He makes eye contact, but you walk on quickly. English from Mrs. Baker. That is the school subject that you will follow for the next three hours.
You arrive at the room. There is nobody yet, except Mrs. Baker. "Good morning [y/n]" you hear when you walk to your seat. "Good morning, miss" you answer. Gradually, more students are coming in. Steve Harrington, that bitch Carol, Jonathan Byers and his girlfriend Nancy Wheeler. And also Billy Hargrove.
''Good morning all. Today it is time for an assignment where you have to work together. I made pairs and wrote it down on this list" Mrs. Baker says, putting a list on a table. Everyone stands up. You walk to the list and search for your name. Together with ... Billy Hargrove.
Oh no.
Billy is slowly coming your way. "[y/n], right? " he asks with his characteristic grin on his face. You nod. The assignment is to write an essay of three sides together. You don't feel like it at all. At least not now that you have to do it with Billy. "Writing is not my strongest side, I'm sorry" Billy says. "Oh, it's okay. I'll do it ... " you say while you look into Billy's clear blue eyes.
"No, I have to be able to do it someday. I'd better start immediately " he says very motivated. He takes his pen and starts writing. You are impressed and you stare at him for a while. Then he turns his head. "What?" he asks. "Uh nothing" you say quickly and you start writing.
Your assignment is completed quickly and you have one hour left. Everyone is still busy. Billy hands in the assignment and sits down next to you again. ''I saw you on the bike today. Wasn't that you? " he suddenly asks. "That's right, I was" you answer. ''I have a question. Don't laugh at me, please. I'm not good at school subjects. Maths in particular, I'm really bad at that. Are you good at that? Because I know you are tutoring some students... " he says.
You are surprised. But you don't laugh.
"Do you want extra tutoring? I can give it if you want to ..." you tell Billy. "That would be great, thanks!" he replies. "When is the best time?" you ask. "I have basketball training after school on Tuesday. Can I come to the library afterwards? I have to take a shower first though." You nod approvingly.
After class you walk out of the classroom a bit surprised. Did the Billy Hargrove ask if you wanted to give him extra lessons?
The following day is Tuesday. You're going to give Billy a math tutor for the first time today. You walk to the library at 4 p.m. Basketball practice normally ends at a quarter to four, so it shouldn't be long before Billy arrives. You already take your math books, your pencil and your eraser.
