Hola!! How are you guys! Here's chapter 4! Enjoy and happy reading!!
I woke up to the sound of buzzing. My eyes fluttered open and I took in my surroundings. Nope it wan't a crazy dream, I actually did meet and shadow hunter and spent the night in his bed. Woah, that did not sound right. The buzzing noise got harder and I finally realised that it was my phone. I started to sit up but was stopped by a weight on my waist. I looked down to see Jace's arm hanging loosely over my body.
I gently pushed his arm off me and got out of bed. I grabbed my jacket and pulled my phone out the pocket. Crap Linda was calling. I quickly pressed answer.
"Alana Stevens where the hell have you been?!" She yelled.
"Sorry, Linda, I stayed at a friends house, I forgot to call." I said.
"Okay, gosh Ally, I was so worried about you!" She said, her voice full with concern.
"Again, sorry Linda, I'll be home later, I promise." I said, thak god it's Saturday.
"Okay honey, just call next time, I was worried."
"I will Linda, see you later." I said. She said bye before hanging up.
"Who was that?" A husky voice asked. Jace. I looked up at him, he looked so hot! His hair was drooped over his eyes.
"Linda, she's my adopted mom." I explained, getting back into bed.
"You're adopted?" Jace asked, laying down next to me.
"Yep, my parents left me on Linda's door step when I was a baby, she took me in and raised me, I owe her my life." I said, looking at him. He faced me and smiled.
"Well, that's not helpful when we want to find out how you're a Shadow Hunter." He said sarcastically. I laughed then sighed.
"Why can't I just be normal?"
"Well I, quite frankly, am glad that I met you." Jace said. I smiled at him before reaching over and pushing his blonde locks out of his face. I pulled my hand away but he grabbed it, lacing his hand through mine. His hands were significantly bigger than mines. He looked up at me smiling, I smiled back. He let go of my hand and sat up.
"We better get up now, I'm sure Alec wants to find how you are a Shadow hunter." Jace said. I nodded and got up.
"I need some clothes, I don't want to wear yesterdays clothes." I said.
"I like what you're wearing." Jace smirked. I rolled my eyes and folded my arms over my chest.
"Seriously." I said.
"Seriously, you look hot." Jace said. I sighed deeply.
"Please, I need clothes." I snapped.
"Fine, I'll be right back." He said, pulling on his clothes then leaving the room. I sat on the bed fiddling with my fingers. This all happened so quickly. Me finding out that I was a Shadow hunter. I don't think that it has quite hit me yet. I was pulled from my thoughts when Jace entered the room.
"Here, these belong to Isabelle, the should fit you." Jace said, handing me some clothes. I took them from him, thank god there was fresh underwear.
"Can you give me some privacy?" I asked.
"Oh, yeah." Jace said before leaving the room. I pulled off yesterdays clothes, then pulled on the clean ones. The outfit I was given was a black vest, red tarted skinny jeans, I then pulled on the black platform boots. I then left the room.
"Wow, nice." Jace said smirking.
"Thanks, I actually love it." I laughed.
"Right, Let's go." Jace said before walking down the hallway then into a rather large room where a large stone statue likea centre piece. Alec, Clary and another girl were in the room, they looked up at us.
"Hello, I'm Isabelle." A girl who I hadn't met yet introduced.
"Alana." I replied.
"I here you're the lost Shadow Hunter." Isabelle said, smiling slightly.
"Yeah, um I guess you could say that." I said, shrugging.
"She's a Mundane." Alec mumbled. I glared at him.
"She is not a Mundane, look she can see us, she has the rune on her hip." Jaced argued.
"What rune?" Isabelle asked, looking over at me. I lifted my shirt up to show her it. "Wow, it's true." She gasped.
"No it's not, she could've gotten that anywhere." Alec snapped.
"Not any random person can get Runes, Alec, she is one of us." Jace yelled.
"If this doesn't persuade you Alec, I don't know what will." Isabelle snapped. Alec huffed before walking out the room, bumpin my shoulder as he walked past me. I looked up at everyone before storming out of the room after Alec.
"Hey!" I yelled. He ignored me. "Hey!" I snapped before grabbing his shoulder. Alec spun around grabbing my shoulders and slamming me against the wall. I gasped as an electric current ran through my body as his hands touched my bare skin. It wasn't a shock like when you love someone it was more like a shock saying I knew him.
"You know something." I said, he looked away. "Tell me."
"You are not Alana Stevens." Alec started.
"Then who am I?" I asked.
"Castalia Lightwood, Sister of Isabelle and Alec Lightwood." He said. I gasped.
"Wait so we're..."
"Related, yes, you are my sister." Alec sighed. "You were given up because you were the daughter of the man my mother had a affair with, she gave you away because my father threatened to kill you so I brought you to a young mundane women for my mother and left you on her doorstep. Before I left you I engraved that mark on your hip so deep down you would know who your true family is." Alec finished. I just stared up at him in shock. "My mother vistited Linda, telling her about us and how important it was to look after you." Anger noiled inside of me.
"Linda knew about this?" I snapped. Alec nodded. "Why didn't she tell me?!"
"She was told, by our mother not to tell you." Alec explained. I sighed.
"Well it's good to meet you, brother." I said.
"You too, sister." Alec said, smiling slightly.
"Sister?" Jace asked. Well this was an unexpected plot twist.
