I slowly walked up. To the front steps of school. For some reason it felt weird coming to school, it feels like every thing that has happened this weekend has been a dream. It feels like I am back to my old life.

"Hey Alana! Where have you been all weekend girl?" Mikayla asked as she approached me. It felt weird being called Alana again.

"Hey Kayla, sorry I was busy all weekend with family friends." I lied.

"Oh well there was a major party!" She beamed.

"Sounds like fun." I said, slightly uninterested.

"It was.." She then rambled on about the party while I tuned out, bored of the conversation. We entered the school and I was approached by Hanna.

"Hey Ally." She smiled.

"Hey Hanna." I said.

"You should have been at the party this weekend, it was epic!" She beamed.

"Yeah, Mikayla told me." I said.

"Well, It was and Brent was there!" She beamed.

"Good for him." I scoffed.

"Aww, come on Ally, He is the cutest boy in school and he is crushing on you, you two would make the best couple ever." Mikayla said.

"He's an egotistical jerk who thinks he can get any girl he wants." I snapped.

"Whatever you say, he's cute and into you!" Mikayla said.

"Yeah, well I'm not into him now drop the subject." I said. Kayla shrugged but nodded in agreement. The day went by pretty quickly, it was a typical boring day. I had the same boring lessons, and the day actually proved how boring my life was until I met Jace. In one weekend he showed me that there is much more to life then school and rules. Also Brent asked if I wanted to hang out after school but I said no. Obviously.

"Who is that?" Hanna asked as we walked down the front steps of school. I looked up to where she was looking and saw Jace, leaning on his motorbike. I walked over to him, smiling.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, hugging him.

"I wanted to come pick you up, I thought we could hang out before your training." Jace replied, hugging back. I let him go and smiled up at him.

"I'd like that." I smiled.

"Great, hop on." He said, handing me a helmet.

"Hey Alana, you know him?" Kayla asked.

"Um, yeah he's the family friend I was talking about." I explained.

"Well aren't you hanging out with Brent tonight." She said.

"Uh no." I said.

"So you're blowing off Brent, the hottest football jock, for some blonde, goth, biker dude?" Hanna asked.

"Uh, yeah I am." I smiled before climbing on Jace's bike. He sped off down the road, leaving my friends gob-smacked. I had my arms wrapped tightly round Jace's wais as we sped down the road. We pulled up outside a small diner, on the out skirts of the city. It was a cute old fashioned diner. I climbed off the motorbike with Jace and we walked inside.

"How did you find this place?" I asked as we sat in a booth.

"I killed a demon here." Jace admitted. I laughed.

"Is that all you do?" I asked.

"Pretty much." He said with a smile. I smiled back. He then leant over and kissed me. When he pulled away I blushed.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"I like you." He said with a shrug.

"Well, I like you too." I said. He smiled widely once more before kissing me again.

I know it's a short chapter, it's more of a filler but I hope you enjoyed it anyways :)
