Tyler's POV

Breaking through the woods, my wolf slowed to a trot, and slowly Tasha's house came into view across the street.

The street lamp was illiuminating the second floor of her house, onto a room with pastel curtains.

That was probably her room.

I wasn't sure why I was here, I just knew I needed to come and check on her.

To make sure she was alright.

Just before I moved closer, a figure leaned out of the window, gazing at the streets below.

She looked pale, under the lamp light. And exhausted with hugh puffy eyes.

And she probably couldn't sleep after what happened. She was going to be very tired tomorrow.

Sigh.

My wolf was urging me forward, but I didn't want to scare her in my wolf form; though she knew about our identities.

I wanted to show her my wolf the right way, the first time.

For now, it was better to look at her from here; so long I knew that she was safe.

Thinking back what happened tonight, my thoughts began to clear and I was starting to understand why Tyler did what he did.

He was protecting me.

The thought warmed and made my heart pounded at the same time.

He was right; I shouldn't had gone off with Ryan when I barely knew him (though I really think that he was a good guy who meant me no harm).

But I was still upset the way he shouted at me, and not listening to my explanation.

I hoped Amanda, Nat and Angel were safely back home.

Sighing, I was about to message them on my cell when I heard a rustle in the woods across my street.

Probably an animal, I thought, not seeing anything in sight when I tried to squint my eyes around the area.

Hey guys, I hope you are back home safely, sorry didn't let you know I was heading back home :( - T

I punched 'sent' to my 3 friends.

Nat was the first to reply.

What happened?? I heard Tyler sent you back!! Ryan our new friend was so pissed >,< OOOOHHHHH....spill - N

Sigh. Long story. Rest for tonight, talk tmr - T

Bummer...night :) - N

Amanda and Angel still hadn't reply, they were probably asleep.

Mom was making Sunday breakfast as usual when I went down late morning.

It was heart warming to breathe in the aromas of home cooked food in the kitchen on a weekend morning after a disastrous night.

Dad was reading his papers and finishing his cup of coffee when I sat down at the dining table.

"Morning, Mom, Dad," I was still exhausted even after waking up near noon.

"I heard about last night with the young man," Dad put down his papers and looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have made you guys worried, it wasn't a great idea to go to the club," I admitted.

"Well, as I have said before, so long you behaved the way you should, we have no reason to worry. Keep yourself safe and we will be happy," Dad said, before going back to his papers.
