Slightly Realistic Approach?

I was watching a video of someone providing commentary while drawing, and I liked the style she did it in so I tried to use it and I think it turned out super good! I used a real image of Stephen, which I've done before, but not with this much success. I really like the way I shaded this as well as the color palette. I attempted a new, more realistic and accurate art style since I figured that other drawings of Steve aren't very accurate to the real Steve. I still like the old drawings though, so they're not going anywhere. Anyway, here's the art:

Here he is! I'm really proud of this for some reason, but I guess it's because I used an actual reference of Steve! Usually when I draw him, I just kinda go "Eh, this yellow for his hair is too bright, but that's ok

Usually when I draw him, I just kinda go "Eh, this yellow for his hair is too bright, but that's ok. His beard is too different from his hair. Fine, I guess. Oh, I can't decide on an eye color. Guess he has Heterochromia now."
