AU Ricky, For The First Time In Weeks (FIXED)

Yippee-ki-yay, I have returned.

I was actually planning to post some Karl art I did, but I felt like this little doodle of Ricky I did was too good not to share. So I'll post the Ricky thing now and post Karl some other time. I promise you will see some Karl! Oh, who am I kidding, all I've drawn for the past four months is Karl.

Anyways, here's Ricky!

I love him so much. Look at him go. Look at him jump. Jump, British boy, jump!

Fun fact: I was actually planning to do a group picture with all three of them, but I limited it to just Ricky because I felt like he was too good and needed to be by himself. I know, that sounds incredibly strange. I have my ways of making everything I say sound like a foreign language. Who knows, maybe I'll do the other two guys later on.

And my favorite detail? His eyes. As I like to say...

THE BAGGIER THE BETTER!

I have no clue why, but I love drawing baggy eyes. I feel like they're not drawn that often in other peoples' art, and they're just a fun little detail.

I did another variation with a lighting thing for some practice. I guess you could interpret this as that he's on stage or something like he's in action, in the middle of a show. It's not the best, but I really like how it turned out! I've actually been wanting to try doing something with lighting for the longest time now, and I felt like this was a good opportunity. What do you guys think, does it look alright for my first try?

As of writing this, it's starting to grow on me. I really love the purple (it's one of my favorite colors!) and I think it looks really great on the black background.
