Being Roommates with your crush can be really tough. Believe me, Jaren & I have shared this semi-small house since we graduated High School. Originally, Jaren and I planned on being roommates until I could find an apartment for myself, but after a month of looking for an affordable apartment that wasn't shitty, Jaren said "You know (Y/N), you could stay with me."
That happened a year ago, and on that same day, I finally realized that I was in love with my Roommate.
Now, Jaren told me that Tyler, Marcel, Scott, David, and Evan were going to be staying with us for a few days, which I was completely fine with.
Time Skip To after the guys arrived
(Y/N)'s P.O.V
The boys and I were having a Random Movie Marathon, where we just watch a bunch of random movies. Right now, Jaren was switching out the Friday the 13th 2009 Reboot DVD with Disney's Hercules.
Small Time Skip
A minute or two before Meg's song, Jaren was going to the kitchen to get us more popcorn.
"Soooooo... You & SMii7Y?" Tyler asked with the smuggest smirk on his face.
I blush and say "Still just Roomies, nothing more, nothing less"
"For Fock Sakes (Y/N)! Ya need ta tell Jaren that you love him sooner or later!" David says loudly, but not loud enough for Jaren to hear us.
"I would but 3 things are stopping me"
"And those 3 things being?" Scott asked, curious
"1. I don't wanna ruin my friendship with Jaren
2. I just don't want my heart to be broken again
3. I'm pretty sure that Jaren sees me as just a friend" I say
"Wait... what do you mean when you say your heart being broken AGAIN?" Marcel asked
I sigh as the movie played and told them about my past boyfriends who took advantage of me or just wanted me because of my looks.
I felt a single tear roll down my cheek as Evan comforted me, saying "I know how you feel (Y/N), As someone who has also been taken advantage of or just wanted because of money"
I then say "And Jaren doesn't even like me that way so I won't say..."
"Say what?" David asked
"I won't say I'm in love... with my roommate" I say just as Meg's song started.

The guys and I turn around and see Jaren with a big bowl of popcorn on a nearby table.
"Uhh..... H-How much d-did you hear of t-that?" I asked slightly shaking
"I heard everything" Jaren said
I tried to back away slowly, but there were 5 men blocking me
Shit....
"(Y/N), why didn't you tell me how you felt about me?" Jaren asked, coming closer
"I didn't wanna ruin my friendship with you and I'm pretty sure that you see me as just a friend" I say, trying to avoid eye contact with him.
"(Y/N), I don't see you as just a friend. I see you as the beautiful, funny, sweet, kind, and nerdy girl I've loved since the day we met" Jaren says
I look up and see Jaren standing in front of me.
Then, Marcel "Accidentally" pushed me forwards and seconds later, I was in Jaren's arms.
I blush and tried to step away, when I felt Jaren's lips connect with mine. Fireworks were going off. The way his lips fit perfectly with mine, almost like puzzle pieces, it makes me think that we're meant to be.
After a few seconds, he pulls out of the kiss and asks "So.. does this mean that my title has been upgraded from "Roommate/Friend" to "Boyfriend"? Just wondering."
I then say "You bet, Romeo" as I hug him.
"I love you, (Y/N)"
"I love you too, Jaren"
"Wait a minute, if you were popping popcorn how were you able to hear our conversation?" Scott asked
"I had pre-made this big bowl of popcorn on the counter for when we ran out for our small bowl" Jaren said with a smile on his face.
