I was at my Brother's annual 4th of July get-together.

But, even though The 4th Of July is an American holiday, we have 2 Canadians joining us.
Evan and Jaren.

Now, my brother, Tyler, has known about my crush on SMii7Y for about 2 years, and thank fuck he hasn't said anything to anyone. As far as I know, at least.
The only other people who know are Kelly, Chrissy, and Scott.

"You okay?" Chrissy asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Oh Yeah, Sorry" I say, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Thinking about you-know-who?" Kelly asked, sipping her drink.
I nod and the girls and I laugh.

Chrissy went over to Scott, sat down on the bench he was sitting on and pulled out her phone, and they start laughing. They were probably looking at memes. You know, as you do.

We were all outside making jokes and just having a fun time in general. Evan and Tyler were tossing water balloons back and forth, Anthony was vlogging, John was vaping, and Jaren was just standing on the deck.

I was mostly just sitting and relaxing, occasionally looking over at Jaren and smiling like an idiot.

I go into the house quickly, to get Kino and Archie.

I come back out with Archie and Kino in tow to see Tyler on the deck, whispering something to Jaren...
Tyler, I swear to fucking god...

Jaren starts walking over to me with a slight smirk on his face.
Tyler, you may be taller and older than me, but that doesn't mean I can't beat your ass to a pulp.
I like to think of myself as a grenade. I may be small, but I can cause a lot of fucking damage.

Jaren was now in front of me.

"Hey Milk-Boy, What's Up?" I ask, trying to hide my blush.
"Hey (Y/N), not much. But Tyler just told me something VERY interesting"

I give my brother a death glare and then ask Jaren "What did he tell you exactly?"

"He told me, that you-" he booped me on the nose before continuing "- have had a crush on me for a couple years". He said with a smirk on his face.

I blush like crazy and accidentally yelled "Alright, Sherlock! You figured it out. What do ya want? A cookie?"

Jaren smirks, cups my cheek, and replies "No, I want something sweeter. A kiss"

Before I could say anything, Jaren pressed his lips against mine, and I was shocked. My crush, was kissing me! ME!!

I kiss back, and as I do he wrapped one arm around my waist and held the back of my head with his other hand. I then rested one hand against his chest and ran my fingers through his hair with the other.

Fireworks were going off, both literally and figuratively. I couldn't believe it, my crush was kissing me.

Everything was perfect.

"GET SOME, SMii7Y!!" John yelled, before becoming the recipient of one of Tyler's death glares.
